As I see it now, Chef's make fantastical food of all types, that can help in all sorts professions and styles of play. But where is this wonderful food besides in your inventory?
I think adding a graphical element to the Chef profession and other crafting professions would get ppl to buy their goods more easily.
Imagine, if a Chef, (as they should!), was able to serve drinks and display a couple for show in cantina's. You would be able to approach a bar and pick up the food from the countertop. Instead of having to trade it.
A chef would prepare the food for an order made at the counter. Chef approaches the customer and places what he or she wanted on the table. The customer picks up the food or drink and does a eat emote fore food and a drink emote for drinks. And then you would hear the corresponding gulp as what's in the game already. This interaction would make the food more appealing to use and buy.
Even if you bought your food through a vendor. You would still see the food you took out of your inventory and eat or drink it through the emote for it. Alas this will upset some ppl that think they have battle secrets because they duel or fight while eating food and preform miraculous regenerations of mind, action or health as you fight them! It would be obvious to what they were doing if this was added and what they used to do it. It's hardly a secret though!
My only thought is, If they can add little red and white motion trails to special moves in combat. Why can't they add a special effect such as this?

Its been mentioned before, but I feel that the general attention of the moment right now for chefs is getting the patch tweaked to our liking as well as the devs. However, I definately would love to see these animations as well.
