Has anybody tried this yet? Have there been differences in what you found in using both new and old?

Not talking about the advanced Aludan's etc. Just plain simple alcohol. The base ingredients used both pre and post patch are different and I am just trying to ensure that using pre-patch alcohol will be viable.

Thank you in advance, and my apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere. I recall seeing aludan being used, but was curious if anybody had done it with generic alcohol yet.
