Thread: My typical Chef Batch(proposed)
Vasarian Brandy
20 x 1000 berries
20 x 1000 fruits
Alcohol
10 x 2000 cereal
Container(Cask)
150 x 1000 gemstone (ouch)
Trim
20 x 2000 fiberplast
5 x 2000 inert petro
BE enhancement
35 x 1000 organic
25 x 1000 flora food
20 x 1000 creature food
This adds up to 340k resources for 1 factory load. This is just one type of food and only 40 crates which is gone in 1 day. This high resource to output ratio is absurd. I like to consider myself a semicasual player although I am using up to 30 lots(friends) at a time. I know I wont be able to keep up with the demand at all with this large amount of resource requirements. I wont be contracting any tailors or BE's to make the parts for me, just the schematics. Even if I did the resource load I would bear would be very substantial still at 210k per 1000(40 crates).
I am also curious that if enough chefs use the larger drink containers if the demand will lower enough so that I can keep up. I feel a little uneasy with my future in this profession.
340k Resources x 20 CPU = 6.8 Million / 40 Crates = 170k Per Crate ( People will pay for quality ) Reduce this if you want.
340k Resources x 15 CPU = 5.1 Million / 40 Crates = 127.5k Per Crate
or even
340k Resources x 10 CPU = 3.4 Million / 40 Crates = 85k Per Crate
Depending on the quality of the resources and the output, I would pay those amounts... The top one being high quality and the low one being decent/discount quality.
You still make a bundle.
Yeesh, I think the most I ever made of one run (non-component) is like 8 crates. My plans for the new foods are to pick a dozen or so of what I think will be the best sellers, and make a crate or two plus 10 singles, and put em up for sale. Depending on how long it takes them to sell out, I'll then raise the number I make of the best sellers until I judge how many it will take to have a week's worth of stock. After that I'll add a couple crates of a couple items until I am at my comfortable manufactiring limit.
I consider myself the Chef Nazi: I don't make huge quantities, just what I want to make to sell; I don't advertise; if people don't like the prices, I tell em to go elsewhere; and I don't do special orders. Despite all this, I still managed to make more money then I knew what to do with ![]()

I love making money and all but I also like to provide lots of people with lots of food. I use a lot of food myself and I just dont think that chefs can keep up with the demand unless they have 4 accounts and a lot of time.
