Can anyone tell me what the maximum value of poison/disease resistance you can get out of cho nor hoola is (If using best possible resources throughout and BE additivesand whatever other bells and whistles you fancy throwing in)?
From what I have read so far it can range from something like 10-20 resistance. If thats all it does then I don't see much point in it as that would lower a 99% potency poison stim to maybe 79, which might help a little but in reality it'll just meanthe first poison getting resisted if your lucky.
Also if I wear an akkuan robe (+10 poison resist) and say a shirt of 5 poison resistance, would that add up to 35 with the food that gives 20, or do they not stack? (I appreciate thisisn't exactly a chef question *smile*)

Well, from my testing, here's the ranges I think you can get with it:
Unenhanced: 10-20 (I don't know if this is a hard number, a percent, or both)
Light Nutrition additive (the biggest it can get): 13 - 32 (although 15-30 is more likely).
And as far as we've been able to tell from dev communication, food bonuses stack on top of any clothing bonuses, even if the clothing bonus is at the +25 cap. One report I saw said that food bonuses go to your base skill, not the "enhanced" column.
So bare skill: 100
Skill with +20 food: 120
Skill with just +25 clothing: 100/125
Skill clothing and food: 120/145
Does anyone know exactly how the Defense vs. X skills work?

Thanks a lot for the info.
I'm still not convinced theres much to point in using it... I think I'll just stick with the brandy and rhyscate (until it runs out!) *grin*
