Thread: 111 nutrition bonus

I have invested a lot of money into makingthese intelligent nanonutrients, factory is grinding away 39 crates of 25 atm

And I got the next batch ready to feed to the factory, will be around 30 crates of 25. Got the schematic and resources ready to go.

My biggest concern is that I can't even find anyone to buy my very first batch of broad-spectrum nutrients (79 bonus)

I know they are only 4 crates of 25, but when I talked to some chefs yesterday they told me:

- Not enough, I need large quantities

- I am going for BE myself

- My friend/wife is a BE

- Won't make a big enough profit when I buy your stuff

So my question for you chefs out there: Do you want the BE stuff or not? Cause I am bidding on an auction right now and when I win that I am broke. I think when I use that stuff I might be able to get to a 150-160 nutrition bonus, more than 2000 items (maybe even higher bonus, all stats that matter will be > 940)

So I need to get rid of the above items with a profit or it is no more additives for me and back to pet building.

Making a pet 'just' costs me the time it taked to gather the dna. Making the additives require me to invest millions, something I am not going to do whenI end up with Bantha food.

Best posted on your own Galaxy's board.

People are still adjusting and 4 is a relatively small sample.

I think you will find a chef and when you do you will make a lot of money

I think some people might be trying to play hardball and intimidate BEs into providing free/cheap schematics

While it is true that 4 is a small number and the chefs tend to think in terms of 40 case runs, we do understand how difficult that is to do with these tissues because we also use meat and milk for even a lot more things than you do.

Obviously every chef is a little different how they do things, but im sure that if you could gauarantee the same amount on a weekly basis for a set price, even though its a low quantity, you will find someone wanting to deal with you. If its just a one shot deal, then its probably not worth the time for a chef to deal with it. We are concerned with establishing long term relationships and conctracts and not a one time sale. We go thru staggering volumes ofresources and subcomponentsevery week in order to make our production. Anything that you can do that is going to help that is going to be well received.

Personally, what I have had to do in order to get any tissues at all is to work with 3 different BE. They each currently can only supply me with 5 to 10 cases each a week. Its a pain, because i have to break up factory runs, but I personally am willing to do that in order to get some. I am paying them 30k per case for light, 40k for medium, and 50k for heavy. I know that some BE want to charge more than that, but thats what these particular BE's felt was fair to them and they are making a considerable amount of money doing it. I simply add the cost of the tissue onto the normal sale price, plus a little bit more considering the extra steps and pain I had to go thru to make the kicked up version, but I'm not trippling or quadrupeling the price or anything. Ex. 100k normal V Brandy in case. 200k for the BE version, which is 40k for the BE and 60k for the extra time and headaches involved. Basically, double the effect = double the price.

I would trade one of my arms and both legs for a BE that wanted to provide me with what you have. Wish you were on Starsider =/

I have not seen anything higher then 115 nutrition bonus, and that was experimented to like 90%.

Not sure you should waste money trying to get the best resources.. When I ask my BE friend to make me a schematic with crappy resources I get something like 108, when I use good resources its 115.

To me the 7 points is NOT worth killing myself to find the best resources, especially when the cost factory is 10x the CPU for good resources.

Just my 2c.

Use crappymeat and decent flora (not high quality). I feel for you chefs that can't find BE contacts, or ones that won't try to rip you off. If I posted on my trade forum right now, I'd get swamped with chef orders I think and I just can't find meat suppliers to get enough for me to keep up. And I got other stuff for my factories to be making as well as other things like making creatures to do which I haven't had much time for due to the chef tissues. Ohhow Iwish there were ranches and butcher shops.

Thanks for the great replies. I also saw in another thread that broad-spectrums are more popular than the intelligent nanonutrients cause the heavies can't be used to make the brandy?

Going to use my 2nd batch for the broads than

Also I think using 1k for light, 2k for medium and 3k for heavies is fair pricing? If not please let me know.

Just going to throw the stuff on the vendor, we will see what happens

Just one last thing. Those good quality meats you are buying....the tailors need it more than chefs. Get a few tailor contracts and you'll be fine with the price thing. Tailor tissues cost more cause we HAVE to get the good stuff. And we havta get stuff like milk, eggs, mollusk. And we gotta compete against the chefs and docs and CMs and armorsmithswho are also trying to get good creature resources. Competing against chefs for meat that you are going to try to sell to them in chef tissues isn't gonna work I think. I can make more cpu on tailor tissues but I can sell more chef tissues. Just remember that for stuff you are buying and put it in the right tissue.
