Thread: +25 Stat Buff cap and Fizz Pudding...
I was using the values listed on SciGuy's excellent food chart, and the Thakatillo stats were not shown as a %, but as a hard number. My apologies if that is supposed to be a %.
However, my question remains: "Howcan the new foods buff your abilitystats by more than +25 ?"
Is it a different category of buff ? Will it stack with clothing buffs, or will it override them ?

Sure, it shows up on the mod screen, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything... I can make you a +38 stun defense shirt, and it will show up as +38 in your mods, but it has been REPEATEDLY stated in many threads on these Forums that mods are capped at +25.
So u may be getting a benefit, but perhaps it is only +25's worth ?

I replied about Barrels & vercupti in particular, but didn't get a response

When I saw the new buffs, this is one of the first questions I asked. Food can give a bonus higher than +25 because it is a temporary bonus, as opposed to tailor clothing which last for a long time. I know somebody who was able to use a bivoli tempari and his +25 heal treatment doctors robes together for much greater results.
Yeah i used some be enhanced bivoli to get +35 wound treatment which resulted in a 4200 health buff with 900 rated packs
These skill mods add to your base stats not your modified ones. For instance if your you have +100 wound treatment and +25 wound treatment clothings your skill mod is listed as +100/+125. After taking the skill mod food that is +35 wound treatment it reads. +135/+160.
Thanks for clarifying that, SirVimes.
So the food buffs stack with the skilltapes/armor enhancements/clothing buffs ?
