Drinks can stack just like food. Its unlikely you'll drink a sunburn and fishak though...2 sunburns sure... 
As for the bug, I've noticed that also...only seems to happen with food (ie I ate some stewed gwouch and synthsteak - bugged me)...ate vegeparsine and drank fishak - not bugged...
My usual combinations were Vercupti and Fishak, or Sunburn & Vercupti, and both combination mess up my stats.
So the bug only affects the food? I ate yesterday some Fiend icecream and my stats was bugged. But at the same time i drunk some Fishak Surprise and the stats were showing correctly, even when the drink wears off, my stat bar wasnt bugged.
Other question, havent tried yet. Does drinks stacks? i mean, can i drink tatooine sunburn and fishak surprise at the same time and get all the stats increased or only 1 at a time?
Here's my Idea Beer Mugs for cantina's. Most People in the Movies have there weapons holstered inside of the cantina's. Give them to Chef's to Make and Make Exclusive Master Mugs (Made And Used only by a person that made master of a particular profession r2 for Master droid ect. Seeing as how there is nothing to remember your trip to the top any way). Make the Mug give the ability to knock down people Especially afk musicians. It would add a little levety to the game as your snickering getting ready for a bar room brawl where all that happens at most is you get knocked down for a couple of seconds. Also since drinking beer improves there mood people would heal a tiny bit faster and give music people better xp.
Give People Equipable items something that looks like a mug for use inside of cantina's
Allow the use and creation of people who Make a Master skill to create a special Mug's
Mug's would grant added buff's to the person with the mug slowly over time while listening to last a little while.
Give Musicians and dancers a little more xp per person who's holding the mug.
Allow Bar room brawls with people holding the mug's and the ability to some how stop the afk musician who never flourishes.
