Okay I decided to start making foods and testing them.
One is Travel Biscuits which I think we may have a market for after the CU.
I've found using these when you don't have TN gives you the ability to keep up with critters in melee and to also stay away from them in range. This has proved very valuable to me in combat.
My first travel biscuit at novice are 7.7 and the difference is noticeable.
Something we might want to keep our eye on. This would also benefit those pure crafters and entertainers trying to get from their homes to cities and vice versa, and for those checking and placing harvestors as it will give them the ability to escape. ( Note so far my test have only been with up to level 10 critters....not sure how effective yet beyond that )

Are the stats listed? The little food i've made has now stats on them, but as reported in the other thread, buffs stats.
I'm assuming the stats have not been implemented to keep the noobie experience, hopefully more will be revealed when the testing progress'
Gonna get back to leveling 2 handed.

They do have stats but they are not easy to find.
If it modifies stats you have to open up the character sheet to see them.
In this category:
Bofa Treat
Blob Candy
Spiced Tea
If it doesn't modify stats then in some cases the icon that appears under the HAM bar will tell you.
Travel Biscuits falls under this, moving the mouse pointer over the icon will show the Terrain Negotiation modifier.
Aitha also falls under this, it gives a Modify Healing Efficiency bonus now ( I got mine up to 9.9 with 4 exp points )
Exo Protein Wafers do not fall under this highlighting mentions DAmage reduction but not the amount, I have no way currently to find out what it does.
Okay that's all I know cause I"ve only gotten to Domestic I......hehe more as I learn.
I think Aitha might become important drink for healers.

Ive also noticed, with the bofa treats and spiced tea at least, that they buff the wrong stats(bofa buffs stregth and spiced tea buffs stamina) you can only take 1 per type of food also(1 bofa treat or 1 spiced tea, but you can take both still). This isnt that big of a deal BUT when you die the buff timer does not go away and therefore you cannot take another bofa or tea until the timer wears off.

Question would be.. if the timer doesn't go away, do you still have your buff?

A question concerning Travel Biscuits in the current Live game (sorry this is kind of hijacking the thread a little):
Do they stack? That is, if you take 5 biscuits, does the bonus becomes 10X5 = 50TN?
Thanks,
Ato

You can't stack the same foods, no matter what stat it buffs (HAM buffing foods are different of course).
If you try to take more than one travel biscuit you will get a "you are already under the influence of this food" or something to that effect.
