Hm, i doubt it would. I get the feeling slicing xp maybe in the same catergory as crafting xp. Which means it might not.
No harm in trying though, i would with my smuggler, but he maxed out slicing xp ages ago.

Aye my smuggler was maxed out on slicing xp too till I went after a senses tree which I can get from scout (very low cap) or slicing xp. At 250xp per weapon/armor I still need to slice 11k items. I can probably do this in about 2 weeks as I have gotten pretty damn good at bulk slicing as I worked for a AS for awhile.

If nothing else, see if you can find a chef to whip you up a couple stacks. It doesn't take an additive, so it'll be relatively cheap. You may want to have some high OQ bristley hide to offer, that's the only ingredient a chef might not have on hand.
One indication would be whether or not slicing xp shows up as a system message. Weapon, scouting, and combat xp gains do show up as system spam, and do get the xp bonus. Crafting xp gains do not, and do not get the bonus. If you get "you have earned ### slicing xp" messages, that might be a good indication that ormachek's bonus will work.

Hahaha have a chef lol I am a chef I just didn't know and thought maybe someone has heard/tried. As for the sysmessage you do get one for slicing I will give it a try tonight when I get home.
