Hello, I've been chef for a while, and I must say the most annoying thing is to make 10 runs of alcohol and casks to stock my vendor with items like brandy, bespin port, ranged defense food etc. So, I am just asking for one simple thing, maybe this will effect not only chef but other professions to. Please remove serial numbers from items that Will Not effect the final outcome of a product. I know this could help all professions in many ways, but its pretty annoying for chef. Also, another idea could be a type of recylcer, but i'm sure people how millions of ideas. Thanks- no flames please

Casks actually already does this, when you make a schem with them the serial isn't recorded, so you can use any run of casks in any schem.
This would be a handy feature, but i can't see this being given any attention till a bit after the CU.
I'll be sure to raise this idea when the time comes though.

Yeah, but keep in mind the "attention" could also be: "Oh yeah, that Casks didn't use serials was a bug, we fixed that now."

My opinion is to leave the system the way it is. I don't really think this kind of thing should be fixed just for the sake of convenience. If this change happened, we'd be able to craft up to 39 crates of things like Mando wine, BoH, etc. out of one single schematic. Convenient? Sure. But the time dedication it takes to take 20+ attempts at a schematic you'll only get 6-8 crates out of sets good crafters apart from the lazy ones.

I can appreciate the original posters concerns. None of us really like having to worry about serial numbers on things like carbosyrup or alcohol. However, in these troubled times I am a lot more concerned about actually having viable foods to sell after the CU than I am worried about the serial number issue. Right now all of my efforts are in determining whether we will really have a great deal of utility after the CU.

Well Vomit, the way I see it food will always enhance something and thats better then regular stats, so I am not worried

I would still enjoy a click and drag option for factories. I seem to get horrid lag when i'm working by my factories and would love to get it out of the way asap.
