does vayerbock - the blocking food work for jedi's block? since it just shows -block- when you DO block a shot?

I just made a bunch and I'm going to test it with my jedi....but if anyone has already please post on your results

The 'Block' modifier is for the old 'Block' skill that Rifleman and some Melee professions used to get prior to the Combat Upgrade, not Saber Block. I don't know if it works if you don't have a 'block' modifier from a non-Jedi profession. I do know it didn't work for Jedi prior to the CU.

According to food sticky on jedi forum it doesn't work.
