im sure this question has been asked a lot, but im not sure where to find the answer. and i've been reading up on this profession for days.. anyhow.
with recipes listed in the food chart, if it asks for cereal - is that just a general resource? or something named 'cereal' because i figured "fruit" would contain berries, but oh how wrong i was and i now have lots of berries. lots!
i mean, for example, travel biscuts from novice artisan since its the first thing on my list containing cereal. rice good? wheat?

The resource tree on swgcraft gives a good layout for what things are in what general categories.
As for your "fruit" problem, that's a tricky one. There's a "Fruit" general category, and a "Fruits" specific category. Berries are Fruit, and "Fruits" are Fruit, but Berries are not Fruits. And "Tatooinian Fruit"requires "fruits", not any berries, flowers, or fruits from Tatooine.
You should be ok, though, berries are pretty commonly used resources, so you'll find a use for them.

On a side note: I have a Tailor Schematic asking for 'Flora'. Will any type of Flora do ?
