Thread: Bio-Engineer here with a question
Different foods limit what kind of additives can be used in it. For example Breath of Heaven can use heavy, medium or light variations of all four. Synthsteak can only use light additives however. My point being that even if you just want to stick to one kind of additive to sell, you'd do well to make them available in all three sizes.
As to what type of additive (filling, quantity, flavor, nutrition) it really depends on the user's template. Quantity is probably the least worth pursuing however. Nutrition and Flavor are usually the favorites but filling have been becoming more popular as well.
Best way to find out though would be to ask either the fighters on your server what they would prefer, or chefs to see what they usually use. Or you can just put a selection of small factory runs up (I'd say no less than 150-200, preferably with a bit extra for experimentation -> manufacturing schem) and see what sells the best.
As for the strength of it, the higher the better. I believe OQ/PE/FL are all used equally (33%) to attribute to the additive's strength.
i dont really understand what you are getting at with this, but i can use all 12 points of experimentation on my Chef tissues

The additional points are only going to be useful on pharmaceutical items; for strictly old line BE things ( pets, chef tissues, tailor tissues) 10 experimentation points is it. There are no attachments for BE experimentation as opposed to the recently grafted on to BE medical experimentation.
Nutritional supplements are in the highest demand, and the stats you need to worry about are OQ, PE, and FL weighted 50, 30, 20 respectively. The other supplements require different resources than the nutritional, which are straightforward one part meat, one part flora, one part generic organic (which can be hide or bone). For example, the filling supplements require an organic component, a wild meat component, and a domesticated meat component. Flavor enhancers get even more specific, with the large one requiring berries, milk, and a flora component.

Experimentation for BE is medical experimentation.
You can try...but u will always have 2 points left over...(except for a bad experiment)
BE never was 12pt until they moved the pharmaceuticals over, and for all tissues the need for 12pt is pointless. (Pets it can be used to give extra stats, but that normally increases the CL anyway, which isn't always what you want)
