Thread: chef on intrepid
Hello to all chef on the intrepid server, i would like to know if there is a lot on this server and how is business going on. I would like to have some advices too, like how many harvesters you guys possess and what kind to be the more efficient, and how do you manage your lots.
thx 8)
I had an idea, since there is some novice chef near theed , we should make a partnership of chefs so all the chefs could work in the same restaurant and cooperate together to make us the most renowned chefs on intrepid . We could buy a medium house a turn it into a restaurant and everyone could collect the ressources to make all kind of foods and drinks to sell at our restaurants. The idea sounds like a real fun and im sure we could make something huge out of it 8).Its just an idea and even if we are in different PA it wouldnt matter , we just would be the BIGGEST renowned restaurant of naboo hehe.
anyway tell me what you think of the idea and if some of you are intersted we could begin to meet in game and do meetings to see exactly how it could be done.
As far as lots go, I use 2 large floras, 1 medium flora, 1 large gas, 1 fusion, 3 factories, and a small house as storage.
I have a vendor set up in a mall really close to my house, and I pull down one of my factories and put up another harvester if there's a resource I really want to pile up.
As with any profession I would say, if you enjoy it, go for it and don't worry about anything else. Chef is not a profession that's gonna make you rich, if that's your goal then weaponsmith or a pure fighting class would be much better.
I'm making pretty good money now, but that's after about a month of daily grinding and being poor. No matter how hard I tried to roleplay a chef the roleplayish drinks simply don't sell (brandy, ale, etc etc). On the other hand I have had no problem at all selling combat oriented food/drink.
Use the bazaar as much as you can, people do check it in most major cities (bestine, theed, coronet, etc). And if you have a shop, put your coordinates on every item. If you need training or have questions feel free to mail me in game.
Well i already have a cafe right outside of theed
Thanks to Kiki (who ismy propriator) the place is one of the most lavishly decorated buidings ive seen so far.
Its the Tre Cool Cafe /waypoint -5400 3142. I have my vendor upstairs in the main area for food and drink and I also have a spice vender downstairs in the spice den. Come by and check out whats possible in a player run cantina/cafe.
I'm too lazy to put something like that together, I just stick my vendor inside a nalagron (sp?)
I made novice chef a couple days ago. Doing the Wastril Bread grind right now.
As far as masters, i've seen oddler and one more master. Can't remember her name though.
I guess it's good to see that there are only a hand full of chefs on our server.
Other Chef's i've seen :
Dreedstar - about the same level
I-Cin - Master I believe.
Those are the only two i've seen, aside from myself high enough in the tree (in addition to the previously mentioned ones) to make good food. I've actually had to pay for a good part of my training for lack of chef's.
