Thread: Fixed Exploit
I miss being able to drink 2 sunburns chain specials and heal myself in the process...
Never suspected it to be an exploit but lone behold they fix that before they fix our **edit** bugs.
In the patch message today:
Fixed an exploit where you could raise your secondary stats high enough such that using special moves actually caused you to gain points, rather than lose them.
Guessing they made 1 sunburn fill you up?
Just like the patch said if you got secondary stats too high using specials would in effect heal you. It makes sense trust me =)
Ah, I get it now. I have a smuggler friend (he's going to become a legend if I keep talking about him like this) who I convinced to eat a couple of ryshcates for me to see how it affected his HAM usage for specials. So he goes out, finds a mob, eats 3 ryshcates, and uses the Last Ditch attack. The pretty little number above his head told me that it cost him 2 mind points to use this attack.
I asked him if it helped, and he started laughing. I was a little offended, and said something along the lines of, "should I take it that means it didn't make much of a difference?" He answered, "no, it usually eats up about 200 HAM to use that. I was laughing because I can hunt anything I want now."
So if I would have forced a BoH down his throat, he would have definately been into self-healing territory.
