Not yet a chef(waiting for my jedi alt, 1 more week woot). Anyway just wondering what would be the minimum stats for resources needed to get +400 for 45min brandy. I have an 11 pt experimentation suit already, so just wondering on min stats for resources i'd need. I'm not really trying to get uber food, just trying to make a little extra cash on the side and try out crafting at the same time.

For the duration, you have to hit 50% in the Flavor experimentation category to get 45m, so the FL and OQ on the fruits and berries need to be above 500. Higher stats give you a better starting point, FL & OQ in the 800s generally starts you at the low 20s, allowing you to hit 50% with 4 experimentation points.

The buff size depends on both the experimentation percentage and the quality of the BSN additive. With an 85 additive (a middle-of-the-road value), you need to experiment Nutrition to around 74%. To reach that while still spending 4 points in duration would need a starting point of about 25%, which requires PE and OQ to be above 900.

That's the basic layout, although there are some more details I've mostly glossed over.
