Hi all.
Couldn't it be nice to have your own custom name "sticked" to the deed when you redeed it? Currently, the name will reset to "Food Factory" or "Heavy Mineral Harvester", but I would like to have the name to be able to stay on that deed - not overwriting the name the architect gave it. It's not a name-change, nor is it the name of the deed.
It's the name of the factory out in the world, and I would be changeable. You would always be able to reset it, by just leaving the field blank and pressing Yes.
I, for one, would like to have my ever-moving harvesters to be named the same - and the function to name your harvesters is already in the game. It just don't stick to the harvester when redeeded.

There's a macro I use to name all of mine. Just a click on the harvestor and a click on the macro in the taband the harvestor is renamedwith all the colors if you desire. As soon as I am able to get on I will post the macro. If someone knows it off hand, please help out.

That would be nice, but I still would like this small feature to be added. And when I named my harvesters, it would always be something with Tyfo's something something nr. 3 (something like that)

It's not gamebreaking, no. But it would be a nice little feature to implent, to keep those of us that care about our installations not all have the same name. It's a little uninteresting to travel around and see a farm of harvesters named "Heavy Mineral Harvester" - all of them.

I would like to see craftable items that have already been crafted have this feature. Much like the backpack.

Yes....my only concern with crafted items is that someone can buy your item and turn around and resell it. I have people watching vendors that I have caught doing this since they cannot change the name of my crafted item. I would be for the sticky name deal.

A superb idea, I like this one
I've seen resellers too, they buy my cheap food and bump up the price a lot 
......hehe I moved into one of the undersellers malls and lowered my price 10% from my usual....hehehe his vendor just sits there now

Dont get me wrong, im not against resellers....I sell to quite a few of them, it is about 40 percent of my business. I guess you could call me a wholesale architect. What I dont like is when someone buys my stuff and marks it up 300 percent. I will not sell at the prices I sell at so that my product can be used to rip off other players. I usually ban that person from my shop.
About a month ago I had to ban 11 people because he kept sending in new people to buy from me.

About the resellers;
the factory name wouldn't change the deed name.
Even though you'd change your factories name to "Tyfo's Food Factory" the deed name would still be "[T-] Food Factory".
