Thread: 12 point Chef??

I have seen several people that say they are a 12 point chef, I take it that this is ment as they have 12 instead of 10 points to work with while crafting. How is this? I am a Master Chef with a +5 Apron and +3 Bandolier and still only have 10 points. If it is not to much trouble could some one please explain this to me.

You get 1 Exp point for every 10 food exp points you have. So, to hit 11 points, you need 2 more food exp in tapes in your case, and 12 more to hit 12 points.

At Master Chef you have +100 food experimentation. 100/10=10 If you had 108 (Like you), you would have 108/10=10.8, but the game rounds the number down
11 pointer: 110 (Or 111, 112, 113 etc.) 110/10=11 points
12 pointer: 120 or higher (Cap is +125 total) 120/10=12 points.
Some people say that having 125 points helps, but I can't answer that.
Btw. the Force Experimentation skill from Crafting Mastery (From the Village) doesn't give additional experimentation points, it just gives a better chance at getting amazings.

there are food experimentation and food assembly tapes. i just mastered artisan and am getting ready for the chef grind. i have a +15 experimentation tape. do i need +20 in both tapes? or what is it that i need

....but don't put your +15 tape in a Chef's apron, the mods don't stack. You need to put it in another piece of clothing.

And also do not put it in a piece of clothing which already has food experimentation in it. Whether is it 1 or 20 the clothing has, Don't!
