I actually picked up Novice Chef just to craft a few of these that I bought, and it's not showing up in my WD&GI tool. Has anyone gotten this to work? Does it actually require a generic crafting tool (which I can't seem to make either now)?

I believe it is considered furniture so you need structure crafting tool.

I didn't do the kitchen utensils but crafted the stove and it was, oddly enough, in the food tool.

Its under furniture like he said
But you can use a Generic Crafting tool for it

At least for the utensils, dunno about the stove

It's furniture. Use a furniture/structure tool to craft it.

I got mine off a plasma thief on Naboo, but it seems to be a pretty darn rare drop.

Or I haven't been killing enough plasma thieves.
