Thread: how do you make your money

I sell my food a some faily low prices. And still gives me a good profit.
all my food is in crates or singles most of time and all under 100k.
I buy my additives and all and i make some faily good money off my sales but it
seems to disapear fast on other resorces and additvies. So how does everyone get
so much spending money off of this?
800k for med additves = 1.44 mill off 80k brandy but all disapears some how.
and thats a 640k proffit but disapears and i dont buy any resorces becuse i have
allready had them for a while.
Any advise?

If you're not turning as much of a profit as you'd like, there's really only one solution; raise your prices. 80k for brandy is excessively cheap, and unless your goal is to undercut everybody else, there isn't any reason to make it for so little. If you want to help out newbie players, put singles on the bazaar, but don't sell yourself short. As long as your stock is near the level of the rest of the chefs on your server, raise your prices to what they charge. People have different shopping styles. If you're not in a convenient place, then you need to make really awesome food and market it as such. If you're in a convenient place, you can slack a little bit because some people will come in out of necessity alone. Either way, I see very few reasons to undercharge and work yourself out of a decent profit.

Make friends with a BE who is willing to make schematics for you if you supply the resources.. helps tons. I supply JFKI and SUN with the majority of thier food and in turn the get me meat to keep pumping out adds.. and still ahve a full vendor.

ok thanks for advise...ill probly just raise prices. Im to lazy to get the resorces for my own
additives.

also...i see your on bria, a lot of the BE vendors are overpriced. send a tell to Veete in-game, he does great work

My prices on Eclipse is this:
Brandy, Ahrisa, Canape 120k / 25
Synthsteak 100k / 25
Vercupti double buff 180k / 25
Mandalorian wine double buff 200k / 25
Pikkata pie 150k / 25
I usually buy my additives for 50k / full run, and i would estimate my profits to be 45k-50k for each crate sold. Only reason i charge so much for mandalorian wine, is because of the schematic, which i paid 7 mill for, and for the vercupti its the 75cpu insect meat i use to make it double buff. Also good enough lubricant oil isnt cheap.
Pikkate pie is abit more expensive because of milk, which will always add another 30k or so in expenses to a crate.
Stuff like brandy and ahrisa usually sell faster than i can make it, also the pikkata pie is huge.

Ups, lol. Of course its not 50k for a whole run, i meant 50k per crate,when i buy a full run
