i see that chef somewhat relies on a BE for the quality of their food. ive almost mastered chef, and im going to master BE next. my question is, what exactly is it that a BE does for a chef? what does a BE make that enhances the food?

they make tissues that we use for additives
medium additives take Broad Spectrum Nutrients (BSN's)
heavy additives need Intelligent something or others (cant remember name)
and i dont know what lights need because i never use those

The Light Additives use Micronutrient supplements, and I use a TON of them. With the new stomach people are looking for low fill foods to add to their current eating habits, and a LOT of those are Light Additive or artisan foods. If nothing else you will need Light additives for synthsteak, which on my server seems to fly off the shelf.
Hope this helps!

There are twelve types of additives, light, medium and heavy where each has a version that can increase buff size, reduce filling, increase duration and increase charges.
