Before I get into this story, keep in mind that my chef lives a sheltered life. He makes food/drink and sells it. That's it. Not into the politics, the latest quests, etc... so bear with me if this story sounds like old news.

90% of my business is done via custom orders. Someone sends me a tell or an email asking for food. I make it for them, put it into a pack with their name on it, and put the pack on my Custom Orders vendor. Most of my customers I have had for a long time, and have never even seen before. It has worked fine this way for months.Occasionally, one or two of my customers have asked me to deliver food to far-away vendors because they were "trapped and can't make it to Coronet safely." I wasn't sure what that meant but I didn't think much of it.

A coupledays ago I happen to be in my shop stocking my vendor. A MasterBounty Hunter comes in... looks through my general vendor.. then looks through my Custom Orders vendor. He says to me, "Hmm... Looks like several of my marks are customers of yours. I could just buy their orders of the vendor and make their life a little harder." He pointed out that of the five customorders currently on my vendor, three of them were for Jedi and the other two were for bounty hunters that were stalking those particular Jedi.

I asked him not to buy the orders that didn't belong to him. I explained that it would only make my job harder, etc.. He respected my wishes and even placed a food order for himself.

After the incident, I /tell one of my customers that someone was looking for him (didn't say who though), told him what happened, and asked if he'd like to have his food delivered to him. He said he'd appreciate that, so I went to the WP provided. It was in a distant Player City on Dantooine. I arrive and there are three Jedi there- also regular customers of mine. Right after I complete the transaction, a bounty hunter arrives- also a customer of mine!

I found it humorous that I was helping arch-enemies kill each other. :-) I really had no idea that I was working for a number of Jedi either. I thought most of my customers were generalhunters, questers, and the like.

I really need to get out more.

Lol! It just goes to show you how wide a customer base can really be. People I've had words with still come to my vendor to buy things. That's always interesting.

You may want to consider giving each order some designation other than the person's name if the potential for griefing exists. Otherwise, a humerous story

I have a similar story like this..... While my chef also lives a sheltered life, I try to get out and do hunts and pvp action when possible even though I am pretty bad at them. Well one time I tried to get involved in some pvp, and it turns out all the rebels 5-10 of them that were fighting me and a few friends were all using my foods against me! And they killed me, course then they suggestedthat I stick tojust making food. Left a sour taste in my throat, but I least I know the stuff works....even if it wasnt the best way to find out.

I also find it funny when a person swears they heard my name before, and then it suddenly kicks in that....."hey, your name is on al my food!" such a small galaxy after all

Yep!, this happens on a consistent basis. LoL, Turns out I've turned out to be the popular chef for a particularly large BH guild on the Kauri server. The problem is, is these BH liked to show up to kill (well attempt, anyways)my Jedi every now and again. I would notice them, and after the battle say, "Looks like you need to purchase some more of Letmi's food". I've let the cat out of the bag and told them my main char is Letmi, so now they are all really cool with me. They don't hunt me anymore, and I even frequent their town and hang out... as my Jedi.

Supplying the food to those that are wanting to kill ME, now thats dramatic.

Use a code for the packs name. Have packs on the vendor with code names that have chance cubes or other worthless stuff on them for good amounts of money. If people buy a pack with a code they were not given, they stand to lose out big. Refuse the order when they promtly offer the pack back to your vendor. They bought it, their fault, and they will never buy something that doesn't belong to them again.

Hahaha... Oh yeah, that was a fun one too. I was in my shop and noticed a few reds on the radar right outside. I figured they were durnis or something, no big deal. I step out and there were four or five Sith masters or something standing around. Before I could run back into my shop, they blew me away with one shot. This is about 1km outside of the Coronet starport, btw.

From the cloning center, I head back to my shop... and from a distance near my shop I see a master bounty hunter getting the crap kicked out of him by these same Sith. According to him, these particular Sith only spawn on Dathomir. What were they doing outside my shop near Coronet??? I'm scarred for life.
