Even if the post-cu crafting changes have changed how experimentation cap/success ic calculated (i.e. looking at the resource cap when calcualtion max experimentation) there are some cases where the caps will still cause trouble.
One example is schematics which require for example Oats or Rice like BoH. Problem is that the domestic versions has a cap of 700 on FL but no cap on PE (1000). The wild versions have no cap (1000) on FL but have a cap of 700 on PE. This means that the schematic will use 1000 as max possible stat for both FL and PE.
If the schem had for example asked for domesticated you could instead get max experimentation with a 700 FL (700 FL/1000 OQ would cap).

Is there someplace where these caps are listed for each resource? Thanks.

Yes please a source for the resourse caps, I feel really lost because I have no clue as to how to figure out what the caps do or anything . I just know things are very different than before the cu. I now as then have just been eyeballing my resourse's stats and playing around, my food is not uber but very useful. But I think knowing the caps and what the caps do would help. And I have been a chef for almost 2 years but never really sold much. Just feeding my friends mostly. Thanks

Actually, the link is in the crafting section of the FAQ. Here it is for quick reference though:
