polo!

{sorry, couldn't resist}

The best crafting macro I've seen is listed in the Armorsmith FAQ, stickied at the top of that profession board. The hard part is finding the schematic number you need, since this is completely dependant on what skill boxes you've trained, and in what order.

Well, I think the crafting session ended is normal when you macro, although I haven't used it myself.

You can try manually typing in the commands that in the macro to step through what it's doing. What are you crafting? If you're looking for chef xp, you have to make a food from the chef profession, the artisan foods only give General Crafting xp. Are you even getting to the point where you select the resources? And are those resources getting used up? You need a pause of a few seconds at that stage, since you can't macro the resource choice.

If your using the macro and it uses the command to practice so that no item is produced in your inventory, then you will find that if you are near a crafting station of any sort, the macro will eat your resources and give you no xp. Move away from the crafting station and try again.

You still have to add the ingredients yourself, without that, you wont get any xp
