It seems that i need to check in at least every other day to keep my vendor stocked do new runs for my factory etc. If I don't do this vendor will be empty, and nothing drives me up wall the wall worse than an empty vendor when im shopping so its something i try to avoid.

Anyway I would love to have schematics that had limits up to 10k. Why do i need to make the same schematic 10 times for 100k of materials to do a run apu 36.

Chematic runs used to be of 100, now they are of 1000.. so I would say its allot better than before.

The reason for limiting a schematic is to stop people who have huge stockpiles of materials from producing huge amounts of products and creating a monopoly. Thats why also factories take their sweet time to make things.. to give others time to also produce items to compete with you.

Actually, schematics have always been 1000, the slider bar was just fixed so it would display correctly, you could always type in 1000 in the window.

The schematic limit is reasonable for almost every profession except for chefs and maybe medics, due to the incredible consumability of the products. By increasing the per use aspect of the stack, they will be making the schematic size less of an issue.

Does the dev reasoning on that make sense?

People who have huge stockpiles are probably running 10 factories or more with lot swapping and multiple accounts.

The power gamer (power crafter in this case) is always going to have an advantage. I can't imagine what it must have been like to do crafting when schematics were only 100. Maybe 10k on schematics is a bit high, but 3k would let you set your factories to run a week.
