Yes, they are on Talus, too. Just killed one.
On Tatooine you can find "domesticated Eeopies", their meat is domesticated, too.

On Yavin 4, Magwax or something to that nature. Fairly easy kills, decent meat great xp.

Humbabas on Corellia. May also be on Talus, since there appears to be a sizeable overlap between the critters on both planets.
They're the only things I know that drop Domesticated Meat on Corellia. A "fat and healthy" one can drop 39 units of meat with Hunting IV.

Are Humbabas rare mobs? What city were you in when you found them? And what do they look like?

You can find them in the wilds of Corellia between the cities. Start in Coronet and run due northeast and you should start running into them 2000m or so out.
They're not as common as some, but they're not as rare as others. I've seen more Humbabas than Grondas, for example.
They look like Bagerasets or Falumpasets, only bigger.
They're red con to me as a 4/0/0/3 Marksman, 0/0/0/0 Rifleman with a laser rifle, but they're not too hard to kill.

I've not heard of any missions yet for them, but considering I've run accross lairs with Humbabas. It might be possible. But the type of weapon needed to make that appear on the terminal would have to be great.
I solo every one I run accross, just for the hide.

Hubabas of all types on Corellia and Talus are by far the best way to harvest Domesticated meat.
There are other creatures, Domesticated Falumpasets (not regular) on Naboo, and Domesticated Eopies (not regular) on Tatooine that give the meat, but they're tough to find and you can't get missions for them.

Mawgaxes are BY FARa better source of domesticated meat -> ~500 meat per lair at NOVICE SCOUT, I tried humbabas at hunting 3 and was getting 10-30 units of meat off em... Gian mawgaxes drop like 70 at hunting 3.. but they are tougher, however, any mater melee profession can destroy mawgaxes.. (also, the missions are 9K credits =))
