Thread: Does quality of components matter in sub-combines?
Hello all,
I know this topic has been asked before on previous posts, but the results seem somewhat inconclusive. I have heard from some that only the quality of components used in Starshines matter. I want to hear YOUR experience.
For example, say I want to make high quality Glazed Glucose Pates. Does the quality of the Carbosyrop and Pastebread matter in the final combine (exclude the BE component in the Pastebread for this discussion)? Or is it only the Fruit and Dom. meat that matters?

Your backwards hun, The ingredients in starshine surprise has not impact on the final tatooine sunburns. Everything else effects the final outcome. Sometimes not by much as with the lower artisan components such as carbosyryp, but good ingredients used there will get your a couple extra points on the end product.

If you want to test for yourself, make "Pan-Gaglactic Garglebasters" (Doh! I mean Double-Dip Outer Rim Rumdrops):
- One with really good alcohol, meaning high quality ingredients and lots of experimentation.
- One with low quality alcohol, meaning low quality ingredients and no experimentation.
Since these only require components, there are no raw resources to get in the way.
Decide for yourself.
I've tested and have come to a pretty reliable law. Please disprove it if you've found differently.
Starshines and Veghash as comps don't matter at all.
All other comps matter, and the more components (it might be complexity, I don't know), the more influence it has on the final product. As a top end example, BoH is all about your aludium, not so much about your rice/oats.
