Chef Archive
Thread: I read the New Chef Guide BUT are we absolutely sure...
...that the following yield the highest XP for each level as one grinds through Chef?
Here's the list in order of how one should grind:
1-Wastril Bread (need 438 @ 73xp to get Entrees I): 35 Cereal (wheat)/ 10 Fruit
=15330 Cereal/ 4380 Fruit
2-Stewed Gouwch (need 731 @105xp practice to get Mix II): 30 Organic (wheat)/20 water
=21930 Organic (wheat)/ 15000 Water
3-Ithorian Mists (need 851 @158xp practice to get Desserts III): 40 wheat/20 corn/20 water
=35000 Wheat/ 17000 Corn/ 17000 Water
4-Kiwik Clusjo Swirl (need 3236 @178xp practice to get Master): 40 Berries/ 20 fruit/ 20 water
=130000 Berries/ 65000 Fruit/ 65000 Water
It is soooooooooo sloooooooooow.
I know everyone is saying the chef grind is slow, but my Lord!
I just want to double-check before I drop a huge load of ca$h on resources.
Thanks,
the Martha Stewart of Wanderhome
For me, I'm willing to spend a little extra on resources (not happily, but I can)to get more XP on something, so i just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else in the tree that yields more XP than what I listed.
Is there? ("No", right....sigh)

Oh well, thanks. Guess I'll go fire up the bread machine some more...
Last I checked the Ithorian Mist gave 178xp per combine. Of course, that was a long long time ago ![]()
I still like the wastril till ithorian, then master. It sure does sound quicker (only 2 steps!)
with macros u can easily get 1700+ xp per minute as they are really fast, when crafting mists.
Just turn off the ingame music and listen to something you like
what i do

Thanks, cant i just do those with just standing near one crafting station? or do i need more than 1 station near me?
Actually, the macro as written gets screwed up if you're next to a crafting station, so stay out a food/chem station radius. I'm still trying to figure out if there's a way to have it work either way (in case you're grinding and someone walks by with a droid containing a station module).
You will need multiple tools, though, if that's what you were asking about.
this macro is without the public/private crafting STATION.
dont remember, but u gotta add a line in the macro if u are close to one of those. its in the weaponsmith guide,
