Thread: Breath of Heaven pricing--need help, yes i read the price guide!
Don't forget, you're selling these to combat characters who are getting 5-10k missions that can be done in pairs in 10-15 minutes. 2 million isn't really that much, if you have the skills to handle big critters on the tougher planets. Plus, with such a huge order, this might even be for a PA, so you've probably got multiple people pitching in.
Personally, I think you might've undersold a little. I would've sold that order for....around 2.5 million, maybe 3 depending on how good the products came out. Don't forget, the BoH alone probably represents half a week of factory/harvester time.
There really is a lot of money floating around in the game, don't be afraid to ask for your share. ![]()
mine are typicaly 15 charge and i still sell em for 500cr a charge.
usually end up being 180-200k. So yeah id say your about right on.
I won't sign it - because I want neither the flames, nor the additional orders (I'm busy enough, thank you). But...
Charge what you feel is right. Personally, I stick to charging 50 percent above cost, or the equivalent in Doctor's Buffs, whichever is higher.
My last batch of BoH was stacks of 9, +613/553s (If I recall) and sold for about 35,000/crate or thereabouts. *shrugs*

You charge 500K per crate of 25? Doctors enhance packs come out to about 20 per stack and sell for around 1K per use. That comes out to 500K per half crate of enhance packs(25 count). I don't think most chefs realize exactly how bad our profit margin is on quality products
.
Charge what you can. I've used both CPU and per use charging methods and I've just sunk into what I feel it is worth. I make Bargain of Heaven(Affordable Breath of Heaven) out of HQ base alcohol and it comes out to +300ish buffs and 23 uses per stack. I still sell it at around 45K. Don't know where I pulled that number from, but that's what I charge.

I think you got the number this way:
90 resources to make with normal Alcohol x 25 BoH per crate x 20cr per resource
90x25x20=45,000 ![]()
I'm glad you decided not to rant :-)
To ease your concerns...
I work with a very small customer list, no advertising, long delays, reserved right of refusal, no vendor.
I serve a select clientelle and take nothing away from my fellow chefs. :-)
Thats what the holochef who sells all chef foods for 30 creds a stack on my server told me too.
hmm.. i never thought about depressing the money... i guess i'll give him the 2.5mill deal for the 50 total crates..honestly, its more money than ive ever seen..thanks alot for the responses, guys and gals, cooks and bartenders...
