Since mastering chef I have concentrated on the Vasarian Brandy market but now I have been able to stockpile enough to warehouse and I am curious as to what some of the other better sellers are. Any suggestions on good items to expand my menu would be appreciated. they don't have to be "hot" sellers, I just dont want to stock a lot of stuff that doesn't move at all. Thanks.

This is what repeat customers have requested:

Synthsteak (this is a GREAT item for the cost of producing it -- and no subs)

Blue Milk (ditto for this -- if it weren't for the glasses, this would be super easy)

Vagnerian Canape (used with Brandy for an awesome focus/willpower buff)

Blood Chowder

Thakatillo (one of our PvPers swears by this; says it blows TKAs out of the water)

Ithorian Mist (same PvPer and his cronies use this with the Thakatillo for same purpose)

Garrmorl

Accaragm

Veghash (not a hot item, but a steady seller and I use it myself)

Pyrollian Cake (I use it, my partner uses it, and most of the crafters in our guild use it)

Bespin Port (People *do* buy this, even though it's expensive and only good for one roll -- I also use it)

Citros Snow Cake

Bivoli Tempari (not a really hot item, but it is requested and I serve the needs of my customers)

My suggestion is to be open to requests from customers and be as well-informed as you can be about the effects of the various foods. Listen to what your customers and PA members are telling you about their perceptions of the foods. ( I never tire of hearing "My God, Bo, that stuff you make is AWESOME!) I was convinced by my customers of the value of making Ithorian Brandy and Blue Milk, for instance. I really did not see them as being Master Chef items, or being worth the cost of the milk in the case of Blue Milk -- and these are now some of my best sellers. Blue Milk even rivals Brandy in popularity. And never underestimate the power of word-of-mouth. Every time one of our PA's deadlier members gushes about a particular food in guild chat, I know I'm gonna have to make a lot more of it because it will start selling like crazy.

Enjoy it, and cherish your regulars. Be an honest and fair merchant. Shop till you drop, and give your credits to others who are fair and honest -- including BEs and resource merchants, and Tailors.

Bivoli Tempari will really skyrocket once the next patch nerfs (or adds consistancy depending on your POV) the Docs. They will be buying this stuff up to increase their buffing ability.

Bivoli Tempari is already a hot item. Of course it's not easy to make it dut to the carnivore meat requirements but so far I've made a 10-15 crates run every 2-3 days and have sold every single one of them and already have orders for more.

Other bestsellers are Vagnerian Canapes, Blue Milk, Thakitillo, Synthsteak (both Be and non-BE).

I think it is funny that people are saying Bivoli is not a hot item. Although the carnivore meat is rare, when I do make it it goes right off the shelf.

The interesting thing with that is people ask me to make it without the BE additive. Adding the BE additive makes it too expensive with not enough of a bonus.

Best way around this is to sit at the northern Dath outpost and chat with all the "Enraged Rancor Hunting Group" types and buy a lot off them as they come back from trips. It's surprising how quickly you can acquire 50K of meat (assuming your wallet is big enough).

Because Doctors are not the richest profession in the game.

When I put in medium or heavy additives into the Bivoli, I have to at least double my prices to make a profit. And while adding additives doubles the effectiveness of the bivoli, it does not double the effectiveness of the doctor's buff, and most of them charge based on the size of the buff. They tell me the extra gain is not worth the extra price, and many, when using bivoli with medium or heavy additives, actualy loose money on the deal. So they ask me for bivoli without additives.

I think its funny when:

Some idiot responds to a general statement like 'meat is hard to get in large quantities' or 'certain types of meat are rare' (and relatively speaking based upon my research this is true) with an example of an isolated circumstance expressing the opposite of the given general statement (or hypothesis) as if this will prove it false.

If many people express difficulty in finding adequate amounts of a given substance it can be said that in general that substance is hard to obtain. If a small % of the sample population (chefs) have circumstances that allow them to obtain the resource the vast majority have trouble obtaining it in no way alters the general statement or condition.

Answering a general statement with a specific incident or circumstance without an eye on the bigger picture is an example of ignorance.
