Thread: Question on Bespin Port and Pyollian Cake

Ok, I have a question on Bespin Port and Pyollian Cake. They give + assmbly and experimentation. Is this for next assembly/experiment on any crafting profession, DE, WS, AS, Artisian, Architect, so forth? Or just the artisian profession? Vehicles, so forth.

Anoter ?... If it is +9 Experimenting, will that be any good, if not, if i get a skill tape that is +1 say armor experimentation will taht add to +9 make +10 giving me another exp point.

No, its like the city bonus +15%, it just takes the results from the random roll and adds 15%, the result is you get more great and amazings, and less goods and fails

I have some information regarding (BE additive) Brandy that seems to show it does nothing/not much. I have nothing I have had amazing successes all 12 points and others with low as one amazing success that the buff stat is only a couple points higher or duration is 30seconds longer (using same BE additives + resources). I also notice during the experimentation prccess, after the first amazing success, when I get either a great success or amazing success, the stat buff/time duration point used for that round gives the same benefit.

My background notes: I use a 43.XX station in a research center, have +8 to assembly clothes, use +14 BE pyollian cake, have +20 fodo exp points and cant recall exact details of BE bespin when making schematics. I would say I have done 100-200 schematics since post past and they all point to that BE foods at least, the benefit of (B) port doesn't seem to help. Does anyone have any further thing to add to this?

I tend to think this is more useful to weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, and architects(especially architects since they only have 55 exp points?)

Architects and DEs have the full 100 points. That was fixed back in November IIRC.

Ah, that'll teach me to not keep on top of all the professions .


Forgot one of the most important crafters that would probably want these. Bio-Engineers. Nothing like spending 5 hours getting DNA and going generation upon generation on it and then have the final combine critically fail on assembly or experimentation. We'll see how crit fails are fixed in Publish 7, but I think BEs would still love to hedge their bets against a crit fail

^^ cool too bad you will only be able to experiment in one line. Having 12 points and experimenting in a line that has 8 points you can assign to it = stupid

Oh, I agree. I kinda like the fact that the quality of resources are more important....and I like the fact this will make Bespin POrt that much more attractive....but those are the only good points I can find. I am really worried about what is going to happen to SWG crafting when this comes out.

You know, I wouldn't be so worried about experimentation if they actually fixed it so that when you spend points on something, it FILLS that bar if you are successful. So annoying to have to use up 10 points to fill 8.

All this does is improves your chances of an amazing success. After this publish, that will be important because Amazing successes will do a lot more than they do now. They will actually raise the maximum stat for the item you are working on.
