im just curious because im new to this whole chefery business, and i think im getting ripped off. i feel bad passing all of the cost of these additives to my clientel, so it looks like ill be eating a lot of it.
thanks!
Just curious as to why you would make it harder on yourself? For those people that do buy BE food they realize it is expensive. They need to pay a premium. Now if you don't offer a low cost alternative(regular food) then I could see this.
If people demand BE food and don't want regular food they are taking advantage of you if you are taking a loss on the product. Your putting in more work and getting paid less. To me that just looks like your being taken advantage of.
If your worried about making your customers mad. You have to realize that if they are true customers and if they desearve your respect as customers then they need to understand the cost of business as well. Your not there just to serve them. Your paying the $15 a month or whatever just like they are. You don't have to be a hardass about it. A crafter just deserves the same respect from a customer that they try to give to the customer themselves.
100,1200,1400 using lower
50k per crate of medium, about 83 nutrition if I remember right.

hi! well, i guess i should bring you up to speed on my current situation. my previous occupation was bounty hunter. i enjoyed it immensely
however, one day i heard the call to crafting, and i decided to put down my krayt scatter and ee3, and instead pick up a chefs apron.
now, in my experience with chefs food (and after having chatted with my friends about it, who are also all combat people) buff size is the most important thing. its just not worth buying +200 brandy when +400 brandy is out there. now, thats not to say thati could easily get away with charging an outrageous price for this brandy-- there are limits.
i guess your business might be different from the business i would like to start? as a BH, i was easily kicking around a few million left over from enraged rancor missions, jedi bounties, as well as meat hunting for uber rich doctors. i had the money to put a crate of +400 brandy, to be sure, but i most definately wouldnt pay 200k+ for it, and i sure wouldnt pay for lesser brandy as long as i knew +400 was somewhere to be found on the server. maybe i was spoiled?

"true customers"? what? im not the mom and pops shop down the street, this is SWG. the inivisble hand of capitalism guides all purchases, and i would definately not expect joe_guildpal to put down his hardearned cash on lesser brandy. i was merely attempting to figure out what the going rate on additives were, as im new to the business and i still havent established a MBE hookup yet.
im not exactly sure how you misinterpreted my poll, my humble question, but i most certainly wasnt trying to be a hardass about anything. im just trying to get a feel for where prices are and what i should expect to be paying for additives.

You're 100% correct Zounds. There are a HUGE ammount of people who will buy something that's good, no matter what the price is. Granted, there are limits that you can usualy count on having... but there are just so many people who would buy a crate of brandy for 600k over and over, with no sign of stopping.
That being said, I offer both types of brandy. Non-BE (my primary offer) and BE enhanced, this way I can reach both markets.
