Thread: Cantina question....
Cantinas are THE hotspot of any Player City. Do it up right ina city with Player traffic and you can have people in your establishment 24/7.
Yes it takes up lots and has no place for storage. I use a Small Naboo or 2 to help store stuff. I partner with another player to share lots for harvesters and such. I have other people that drop their vendors in my Cantina and pay me a rental fee. They are willing to pay this fee because the Cantina is the obvious meeting choice for people to heal, buff, and organize.
Make it look nice, arrange for an entertainer or two to be there fairly often, and keep it fairly stocked, and you're in business. If you have special events or shows, charge an entrance fee at those times if you need the money.
Wanting to be social hub (as was my goal) helps to give you reason to exist. If not, help somebody else to establish one and just drop in a vendor, pay rent, and sell your wares. My initial goal was to have a party place, not to make money, and I suceeded. But the new foods have been too profitable and I'm now making money despite myself. Go figure.
Stop by the Drunkan Gungan on Naboo for my example! ![]()
