can anyone help me out?

if you look at the first picture posted above, you'll see that my drink bar is less than half full, and (based on my stats window)that I have already consumed 2 vasarian brandy doseages (stats on item picture). When I attempt to drink another dosage of brandy, based on the rationale that a FULL drink bar = 100 filling, and each doseage =50 and myfilling bar is less than half shaded,I getthe system message saying that I'm too full to consume it...

is it a bug or just lame?

You see those yellow bars on the left of your first picture? The colored graph for food and drink can (and in my experience usually does) drift away from the container box. I think what happens is that resizing the character window pushes the colored graph out of sync with the grey box under "Drink", so the origin goes off the left side of the screen, and there's no way to tell how full you are. The Food bar seems to drift to the right, so you'll sometimes see the orange bar in that box starting 1/3 to 1/2 of the way across the box.

The only workaround I've found is to drag the character screen wider until the left side of the yellow bar lines up with the left side of the Drink box.

You can also try timing things to figure out when you can drink a new dose. Most testing shows a 45m duration from 100% to 0% full, so starting at 100% (two brandies) you should be able to drink a third 22.5 minutes after the first two.

Of course, what I'd really like to see is those two colored bars get replaced by an actual number. Why should we have to squint ata bar graph when just printing "55%" is so much easier?
