My server (Tarquinas) just started spawning good crustacean meat
DR 940
FL 419
PE 190
OQ 925
Just wondering what chefs would be willing to pay for this stuff since I'm not really familiar with how necessary or unecessary it is for better recipes..? I'm not out to gouge anybody, but I also want to get a sense of what's fair. Collecting shellfish meat has got to be one of the most boring aspects of the game hence a desire to get a good price to make it worth my while... milking is boring too, but at least when you're milking critters something attacks every once in a great while...

Well, first off nothing chefs make requires crustacean meat, although it can be used to fill "Meat" resource slots. BEs require seafood or crustaceans for some of their tailor tissues.
Um, actually I was poking around the tissue schematics on swgcraft, and it looks like there's no "seafood" requirement for anything anymore. I guess those were on the old food tissues. So nothing requires crustacean meat or seafood (unless there are any lootable schematics that use it).
Second, the very low PE and mediocre Flavor would make this at best a medium quality resource. I hate to say it, but I don't think you'd really be able to sell this to anyone. Anybody using generic "meat" or "organic" generally has PE at least as important as OQ, sometimes more important.
