My suggestion, if all you want is to complete master chef, is (starting from novice artisan)

Some of the numbers may be inexact, but all are close

1. buy, or sample, 270 metal -- use this to make 10 survey tools, craft for practice. This puts you to domestic arts 1

2. buy or sample 360 flora food -- make 60 carbosyrup, MAKE it and eat it. You get 12 for making and 8 for eating you make a food component (one reason chef aprons are so big....) Domestic arts 2 now

3. get either 1000 wheat for 100 dough, or 1000 flora food for more carbosyrup - components are great for grinding....

domestic arts 3

4. 2000 of wheat or flora food, dough or carbosyrup ----- domestic arts 4

5. at DA 4 you can make large glasses, using 100 gemstone (210 xp per, need to make 94 or so of these) put your gemstone harvester down before you get to da4....

6. from novice chef on to master, grind out soypro and eat it. you are going to need lots of vegetables and cereal, but those are easy to sample or harvest out.

I would be surprised if this plan, with a decent 3 tool macro (many posted in lots of places), it takes you more than 2 days (or one real serious day) to qualify for master

EXCEPT ---- i dont know a great plan to get the AP, other than find a friend who will let you train them repeatedly, losing the skill each time.

good cheffing, and anyone on bria please stop by Pure Pork on Naboo. -83, 1227. we want to make foods available, such as Vasarrian brandy (nonBE) at 50K per crate... come by for all your food and weapon needs

Chef took7 Hours to hours. I did it in one day. Just have all the materials, and keep going . It is very easy to master. All the crafting profession are. They are all easy to do thay any combat profesiosn except marksman. So have a crafting profession are a holo maybe less fun. But it is quicker and easier if you have all the resouces.

From a "fast or slow"? perspective, it's not too bad. It sure as heck isn't DE or Tailor, but it's gonna take several hours. It's not fun, but from a grinding standpoint it's no worse than a number of other classes you'll pass through on your way to unlocking.

Just read the FAQs and you'll be done in about 8 hours.

Having all the resources in front of you, a good macro, 4 tools it took 10 hours 32 minof hardcore grinding... no chatting. I Did Master Chef in less than 3 days with chatting =) but I had a stop watch going during grind time and stopped it when not working at it. Good luck =)
