Not sure if it will help you raie your stats to the desired level, but get some bespin port, and get in a reasearch center and craft till you get an amazing success. I have 12 points and I always fill up nutrition to full, and put the rest in flavor -(1 or 2 points to fill out nutrition) and I never stop crafting untill I have a minumum of a 10 point amazing.

Hmm... you know that's one thing I hadn't tried yet is using Bespin - but I had THOUGHT that Baspin only decreased yoiur chances of getting a crit failure - So I assume you're saying it increases chances of an amazing success?

Never make brandy with less then 45 minutes most combat ppl like to use them 2 at a time( I do ) but anything less then 45 minutes will leave them with a down time. Even 2 minutes can be bad if it happenes at the wrong time.

Bespin is excellent to use, correct me if im wrong, but I believe Bespin Port increases the chance of amazing success on the actual item combination, not theexperimentation. Whereas the pyollian cake increases the chance of amazing success on experimentation.

Hi there!

I made Master Chef about 2 days ago, and although I started preparations for a brandy run well ahead of time, I'm still finishing up (waiting for a run of Casks to complete). Now here's my dilemna...

Maybe I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but even as a beginner I don't wan't to put out sub-standard product. Now I didn't expect as a beginner 10 point chef that my first brandy would be the +435 for 43 min I'm used to seeing, but nonetheless, my first schematicsfor brandy have been somewhat disappointing to me.

First of all, I have 2 diff 100k stacks of fruit I've been trying from, both decent OQ and PE, but vary on the DR and FL (though I admit neither have the sort of stats I'd LIKE to see on FL and DR). One stack gives higher initial power but consistently pushes the filling to 51 on initial crafting, forcing me to spend an exp point there. But doing so limits me on what I can spend on Flavor and Nutrition, and I think the highest I can get on this has been around +402 for 40m. The OTHER stack defaults at 50 filling, but lower nutrition and duration, so I can only get it to around +407 for 38m. There are of course other variations (+414 for 36m, etc...) but I'm picky on having no more than 50 filling, OVER 400 pwr, andtrying to get as close to 45m duration as possible. So that being said... I'm frustrated.

Apart from waiting for better fruit/berry spawns and trying to climb the exp point ladder, what should I shoot for here? Have any of you had luck selling brandy that was either around 400 pwr, or slightly under 40 duration? I'm just unsure which scheme to use for fear that the one I choose is going to sit on my vendor shelves collecting dust! So I put the question to you establishes chefs who were all at SOME point also just starting out with 10 points.

You guys are great, and I appreciate your advice.

Its the other way round, Cake for making, port for experimenting.

Just all the tat stuff is pretty sucky so i can only get +11 stuff on my server
