If you added ahrisa to your speciality list you will be just like most other chefs. Those are the top and about the only things that do sell. The crafter foods do alright as well.

As to how you find out what you need, stand next to a crafting station in the game, and open your crafting tool. It will then show you a list of what you can make, what is needed and what stats are important for what. Great information just right there.

So you just mastered chef and still have no clue as to how to make a factory crate, or what ingredients go into what foods?

Gee, I bet the community's going to have a lot of sympathy for your powergrinding ass.

Boy, this is great stuff. I'll tell you what, this kind of response gives ANY profession a bad name... and this is not why I come to the forums.

Now first of all, I am not saying this is the best questiojn

First of all let me say I am not entirely defending his questions. It is fairly obvious he has not done a whole lot of research regarding the subject, and yes he probablySHOULD invest a little more time researching on hisownbefore asking questions like that. However, this does NOT give us license to post sniping replies as if WE never were just starting out and asked a lot of questions. While his questions were fairly vague .... he wasn't rude, he wasn't demanding, and he wasn't asking anything that most of us haven't wondered about before we got the hang of things. So instead of clogging up the thread with biting remarks, let's try to help if we can, and move on if we can't.

To answer your questions Kofi, you can find these any many other answers to your questions in the stickied "Read this FIRST - Chef FAQ" post at the top of this forum. Also as far as ingredients go, simply opening up your Food and Chemical Crafting tool in-game will tell you what general resources you need to make any given food you have the schematic for. If you have any more specific questions after that or need clarification on a certain issue, ask away.

Leaving aside the obvious RTFM complaint....

He's not "just starting out". He claimed to have mastered the Chef profession.

If he had started the post by saying that he had just trained Novice Artisan, I could understand not knowing how to figure out what ingredients go into a given schematic.

If he had started the post by saying that he had just trained Novice Chef, I could understand not knowing how factories work.

But to(by all apperances)grind his altstraight to Master Chef with plagiarized macros so he can churn out crates of popular items, and then have the gall to ask how to actually do this crafting thing so he can start raking in the cash... well, I'm not sure if it's better or worse than asking for hologrinding help.

Call me old-fashioned, but I like to spend at least some time trying to figure out how the profession works before I finish grinding my way to master.

Thanks Moebius for noticing that in the first post i said directly --"Or atleast direct me to a place where i can find thisinformation out."--

No reason for controversy Sam-Wise..The chef profession is not hard to master.. just sit and start that macro a craft Kiwi swirls or whatever...So quit bust'n my chops and get off my grill. YES i couldve had done more research but my time is limited (notice i use a macro to do alot of chef) so i figured Id ask straight out OR like I said direct me to a place where i can find this out). Point made. Thanks Moebius! NO thanks Samuel-WISE.

additives--BE's

container--make em ya self (barrels are bugged)

factory crates-- um you're a holo grinder aren't ya? Factories make things in crates. Go buy yourself a couple of Food & Chem factories.
