With the current Tat Carn Meat and a couple amazings I was able to hit 25.942001 using a 118 additive (which was hard enough by itself since there haven't been any good 900+ FL/PE/OQ spawns). The meat stats were 998 PE and 956 OQ. Veggie stats 1000 PE and 968 OQ. 98% experimentation. My question is do I need better carn meat and veggies or better additive or maybe just hit more amazings to be able to reach +26?

Well, it might be possible to hit +26 with a 118 additive, but it's going to be tough. With the rounding that the crafting system does, I don't know if a 99% Nutrition would break 26 or not. And a 119 additive is going to be tough too. And despite dev comments at fan fest, I haven't seen amazing successes do much good for getting past the percentage cap set by the resource stats.
Unless you can get your hands on resources with even better OQ, I think you may want to look into getting better additives. Depending on the Flavor of the carn and veggies you have, you might want to see what a BE can do with those (since Nanonutrients only need generic meat and flora). Of course, if you tried that already and ended up with the 118s (which are very nice, I rarely see them for sale), I'm out of ideas.

I very seriously doubt that what the devs said about an amazing success adding to the max experiment range is correct. I don't think they mean to misinform, but that just isn't happening. I find it almost impossible to believe no one has at least stumbled upon a 100% experiment while make a tool or powerup like we did in only one day of that crafting change. Just try to keep in mind that the game and all the mechanics within that the devs deal with is HUGE. We play this game and experience its effects far more than the devs do, and I don't thing there is anyone that can claim to know how everything works. Just try not to take everything the devs may say or post as gospel, just because they work on this game doesn't mean know every tiny thing about it. They'll make mistakes just like us.

Yeah, I think they got confused about what got taken out during the crafting revamp. Amazings did bump the max on that one-day experimentation change (which is when some +15 tools, +45 crafting stations, and +90 BSNs showed up). But when they took out the percentage gain being effected by resource stats, I'm pretty sure the amazing effectwent too.
My theory right now is they were still a bit hung over from partying with the correspondants the night before.

One time back in oct I got an amazing making the food tool on the last exp and got a slightly better tool than the other types I was making. I much as I tried to get the others like that food one, I couldn't. It wasn't much of a boost, but a very real one. Can see it on the tool rating when compared to the others. The only time I have ever seen that happen. So maybe it is 1/10,000 chance or something crazy like that.

anything over 25 on bivoli is just a wasted exp point that could be used to make longer duration or less filling. anything over 25 does not improve medical benefits.

Well, several people have posted that anything over 25 doesn't help, however.... I was selling 25.7 Bivoli. After reading that anything over 25 rounds down, I changed the way I was making it and started selling 25.07 with better duration. I had 5 separate Dr customers come to me and tell me that they got better buffs using the 25.7 than they did with the 25.07. So, I'm not sure that information is correct. Possibly it rounds up when you hit 25.5? I would really like to see some testing on this as we have several posts on this popular food each week.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but I tested with something like 24.2, 24.9, and 25.2. Buffs were the same with the 24.2 and 24.9, but 10 points higher with the 25.2.
But I think the statement about nothing over +25 helping is referring to the skill bonus caps. I haven't seen any tests of +25 vs +26 bivoli, but I believe the devs have said the +25 cap does not apply to food.
And I'm pretty sure you can't hit +26 with a 118 additive. Divide the 118 out of your 25.942 and you have an 11.9 base bivoli. I've made quite a few unenhanced bivolis and they seem to go up in increments of 0.1, so I don't think you will see any increase until you hit 12.0 at 100% experimentation.
