I see vercupti = approx 1000 HAM for approx 50 fil depending on the chef. SWG craft says its for pets.. obviously it can be used by players.

what about Sweesonberry Rolls? It says its for pets too... Canplayers eat this? I have never seen this food on anyones vendors (just started actively looking 2 days ago).

Easiest way to check is to examine the food for a "species restriction:" line. For pet foods, it'll say "pets". There's also a drink that's wookiee only (bonus to wookiee roar), and a food that's Trandoshan only (bonus to regeneration species ability).

Sweesonberryis better than Vercupti, but only because it's pet-only. Pets can only have one food buff active at a time, so the filling is irrelevent on pet foods (since they can't stack anyway), and the relative increase of +1000 on a 5-10k pet is much less than on a player, who generally has an un-buffed HAM around 800 to 1000.

I seriously doubt we'll ever have a PC food that gives +1000 to anything for 45m, especially if you can take five at a time.

Only vercupti has been changed from pet only.

The rest have all stayed pet only.

I can't remember the reason vercupti changed, was a long time ago.

swgcraft is wrong, and I'm not sure who to contact about it.

Right after the chef revamp hit TestCenter, Vercupti was pet-only, but it was changed before going Live (or soon after hitting Live, can't remember now). However, the old, badinfo had already been distributed (chefs were really psycked about the revamp, posts on new food were flying all over the place), so some resources do still have Vercupti as pet-only.

Sweesonberry rolls are still pet-only, and are actually pretty handy for a low-level CH using wild tames . +1000 H/A/M isn't much on a Mutant Rancor, but it makes a durni into an evil bunny with sharp pointy teeth. The reason they're tough to find is that each one requires 2 bantha butter, and bantha butters require 20 milk each. Most chefs prefer to spend their milk making Pikatta Pie, Smuggler's delight, or Blue Milk. Plus the fact that most CH's are either using high-level wild tames (which don't see much relative benefit from +1000 HAM) or BE engineered pets (which can be made with pretty high stats even at low CL).

ok clarification... vercupti is player food (this was known the pet thing was confusing -thanx for clearing that up)

butSweesonberry rolls CANNOT be eaten by players?

I'm asking because it seems like sweesonberry rolls would be better than vercupti (maybe not ingredient wise for chefs) but the stats are similiar, but the fill is less and the timing is much much much longer.

Sweesonberry rolls cannot be eaten by players.

Only pets.

But that would mean you need to get your hands on one of the food first, otherwise you can't check the restrictions.
