Chef Archive

Just wanted to let you know that I am a new BE/Chef in the game. If any of you do not currently have a BE that you use on a regular basis, I would be more than happy to help out. Bring me your resources and I can makeyou a schematic for your factories.

I am not trying to cut in on anybody's business and I hope that none who read this see it that way. I Have just spent all my skill points on BE/Chef and some Business so I can place a vendor (Without a planetary sign). This means I had to give up mask scent and I can't really get any good Samples to play with making animals and I am really geting kinda bored with just vendor shopping for resources and sampling all the time.

Also, I am looking for some good PE/OQ/DR fruits and flowers (Been a while since I have seen any). If anyone has any that they can trade, I can make a run of BSNs or something for you in exchange.

I would love to join a current group (if one exists) that helps out with resource surveys around the galaxy. My house is currently on Dantoinne (And has to stay there cause I am the only chef in my town).

If you're looking for flora I'd check the Lowca forums, maybe even post a mesasge there that you're looking for some. The stuff can get pricey tho which is kinda hard for starting chefs.

I'f you've got a real deep pocket, you might check with Nadien. He's always got some excellent flora for sale, but it costs a lot. He has a vendor south of Coronet (same house as Chef Franceis.)

thanks for the tip I will try nedian's and see what happens. I only have a mil or so to spend on resources right now, but I am hoping that goes up fairly quickly cause I have 2 factory runs of 25.?? 14 min Bivoli going right now

Welcome. If you need help with anything, feel free to let me know. I'll be contacting you as well for BE runs. It's hard to just get started out, but if you stick with it, it's well worth it. Right now, you should put down any harvestors you can on the rori tubers. They have an oq/pe/fl of around 2650 or so I believe. While this isn't as good as the old rori tubers for BSN's and such, it's not bantha fodder either and should get you at least 86/116's with good meat if not 117's.

Also, whenever something good shifts in, be prepared to harvest as much as possible to last through any droughts. Especially on stuff like fruits/berries and carnivore meat.

I am on the tubers atm (I have like 500k so far and am hoping to get like 700 before it shifts). The resources are coming slowly, but they are coming. also have 400k of corilian tubers, 700k greens, 1mil berries (but I will not keep all of them cause they are Dant berries from a long time ago and I know that my doc friends are gonna be after them) and small collection of beans, dom oats, really good wheat, corn and cask stuff atm. Just waiting on fruits and flowers to get going.
