Hi guys, I have had a request to make some Cavellin Creams.
I have been doing a little research and a few months ago an issue was raised that mentioned Cavellin Creams are no good for 100 or more power, as you get up and incap instantly. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Also, if this is the case what sort of additives do people use to keep power down? Cos with my worst ingredients and +118s (the only add i make atm) i am way above 100 power without experimenting.
Thanks for help

Nice to know people are checking out more than Brandy/Ahrisa/Synthsteak/Havla.
I haven't tested the instant re-incap lately, so I can't really comment on that.
To keep the power down, you can do two things: either don't use an additive at all (which would put it at roughly 63% incap time reduction after spending 6 or 7 points) or use a smaller additive. If you use a Micronutrient rather than an Intellegent Nanonutrient, you should be able to hit in the high 80s or low 90s without too much trouble. A BSN should also stay under 100, and leave you more points to reduce the filling or increase the stack size.
The additive size listed in the schematic is the maximum size you can use, you can use a medium or light additive in a food that takes heavies.

I've had a few requests of late for this from jedi, and i'm doing a little test run of it.
I'll get back to you with the results.

Well i made a couple of testers.
I used some spare 87 BSN's i had knocking around, with some decent fruits and a some decentish water. The first was 95 without experimentation. So i just left it at that. The second i put a as much points into nutrition and got a good results (
) which took it 120. So i thought that would do as a test run.
So i find a spineflapper knocking round my shop, and i start a fight.
I eat the 95 recovery food first and when i get incapped i have 4 second left on my counter. So that passes and i get up again, without aggro. I then ate the second tester, with 120 recovery. I got agrroed by the spineflapper again and the fight started. My health got down to 0, i got the you have been the incapped message but i was still standing. I didn't even go down.
So i'd say its not bugged either side of 100.

I made some 150 cremes and did a test. I got incaped and had 150 seconds on my timer. Ran it a second time and has 120 on my incap timer.
Maybe the cap has been raised to over 100 but less than 150.

When you tested it with the 120 one:
Did you loose aggro the second you got the "You have been incapped message"?
Another question is what happens in PvP? usually people don't just stop hitting you, and after you wake up from an incap you usually have 1 Health or so.
So the following might happen, all within the same second:
- Incap
- Stand up the same moment again (or don't go down even)
- opponent still spamming his attack key
- Second incap
So you actually get two incaps for the price of one

Yeah that does seem to be the main flaw in it.
It needs some testing as too the usefulness of it really.

I'm making a run of this stuff to test it's usefullness.
One place i can see it can be usefull is Jedi (again).
When you incap you have like 1 second or so before you stand up again with this stuff. Usually when a Jedi incaps (knight) it's due to a f*ckup from his side, or a warcry. All he needs is that tiny break to get up and heal himself again.
I got 99% recovery in the assembly and then 10 points in filling got it to 20%.
Did a test about the uses, but i could cap the resources on 99% in Uses, and it STILL only had 2 uses. So i guess it's ment to be 2 only.

Well 1 second should be enough for an auto-DB-macro to DB you.
And if i would fight a jedi for real, I would have one of those running.
And as I said before, if the attack key is spammed then you get hit the second you get up again, most likely you incap a secondtime before you actually think about healing yourself.

That's what i said.... we tested it... i spammed the attack... he incapped and got up "less than 1 second later"... but it was enough to "kill" my combat query.
You can't prevent yourself vs a deathblow macro. This is not something that "saves" you. It gives you a chance of getting up, healing and getting away.
That's enough for 95%. And i wasn't speaking about Jedi VS BH only. In bigger battles ppl may lay incapped for 5-10 seconds before anyone gets a DB on them, due to all the action. Especially if you incap due to a Dot. And that's where I intend to use it.
