Just wondering what most of the more experienced chefs are finding for costs of BE additives.
Heavy, Medium, and light...
My most recent purchase was some crates of +84 nutrition medium additives for approx 20k per crate from a guildie. Is that about fair...on par with your experience?
Thanks for any insight..

+84 is pretty low, but the price would be about right imo, i would pay upto 30k per crate for a 86/87.
for inn, about 40k per crate i think, 115-117.

It looks like I'll have to cut prices if I want to sell anything ... 20k/30k/40k for +55/+85/+115 and 1k per point difference just isn't doing anything. The funny thing is, I made a +85 with 20 units Akip,25 Lekob, and35 Vepee, consider resource costs (look them up on SWGCraft) and product costs.

I think you can't complain about that price for +84s
I was paying 32.5k and 45k for 86 and 117, till that BE quit
Now I usually do my own.

It's the resource quality I need, that it's berries is incidental. I've dropped BE anyway (for the FS grind), just a few schematics left over ... and lots of Lekob, Paschaocta, and Vepee. I don't think I'll be taking it up again, either, it's just not worth it.

25 tissues per crate, 20 units of meat per tissue = 500 units of meat
500 units of meat at 50 cpu = 25,000 credits per crate
That's the cost of the meat. Even if I harvested the meat myself and didn't spend a dime on it I can still sell the meat on the open market as a raw resource so the meat does indeed have a value that must be considered. Otherwise I might as well go ahead and sell the meat outright and forego tissues altogether.
Add in the cost of flora and a reasonable profit margin and you'll come up with what should be a fair price per crate. This is a good rule of thumb. The value of meat will be the driver. Be aware of your server's meat market (mean that in a good way) and you will know whether the price you're paying is fair or not.
It will also explain whyBE's are scarce and chefs are relegated to dabbling in BE or paying for an alt.
