Im sure ill be hated for this but ...
how come when you guys say fully stocked vendor you really mean i have 4 or 5 items, brandy, bivoli ,synthsteak ,canape, and the other pvp food ....
On bria i haven been looking for 1 chef that makes Bespin port for over a week as my main chef has quit. I hear spam "fully stocked vendor at ...." or on bazaar see the food saying visit my fully stocked vendor at ... I go there and POOF only got the same 5 things every other "fully stocked" vendor has.
Anyway hate away, just kinda curious because if i claim fully stocked and im not i get a bad rep.
PS if your a MC on Bria email me with prices for full crates of Bespin Port. Im looking for a supplier.

I don't know why people bother to advertise if they've got nothing to sell. You just get reactions like this, which are totally justified. I very rarely have less than 200 crates on my vendor, and i sell about 20 crates a day on average.
But there are alot of factors in being able to keep a good stock up, the main one being BE adds. If the chefs don't have a BE alt like i'm lucky enough to have and there isn't many career BE's on the server then there's going to be a shortage, simple as that.

Question for you then Mr. AS
Do you have full suits of Chitin, Bone and Mabari Armor on your vendor?
Fully stocked AS's rarely have anything other than composite or Ubese.
I only make Bespin Port on special orders because it's a pain to get the specificquality resources needed to make it.
Most chefs are fully stocked with the items that sell. You'll never see a chef vendor with 50 crates of every type of food available because most of them are useless.
It's the same reason why you don't stock bone and mabari armor.

In fairness Bespin port is one of the main sellers, most chefs should try to have it in stock.
Of course no one will have 50 crates of every food, but i try to have that with every useful food.

Exaaactly. A "fully stocked" chef vendor has the mainstay foods and drinks, that's all.
I'm on Bria, I stock Bespin, I'll send you an ingame mail![]()

True, but the resource requirements don't have quality spawns often. That coupled with the fact that it takes 3 alchol, makes it a pain.A 333 bottle run, throws off the amount of casks I make per run, leaving me with 167casks available. Keeping it stocked becomes a huge hassle when every run staggers your available components.

anyway I was contacted by someone in game for the port, Thank you i will be buying those 5 crates son as i can get over there.

FWIW, I have Bespin Port on Bria. With the exception of the .1% times I run behind on restocking, I always have it. It's not a really high demand item, but I like to carry it just because. I use it all the time, too.
If you're having trouble finding food, the trade forum boards are a better place to find things than those awful in-game spammers. A few Bria chefs frequently advertise on the trade forum, and at least 2 others have Port.
<.tiny-brag>I really love having a wide stock, despite the all the work it takes. It must make a really good impression on people to see all the variety, because although I don't get massive traffic (I'm in a player city, not outside Theed or Coronet), when I do get visitors, they buy 1 each of ~5 or 10different things. <./tiny-brag>
