one of my vendors is going to be exclusivly PVP foods. I was wonder if anyone wanted to comment on which foods I should put on the vendor. I have had some unusual (well imo) requests from pvpers for thinngs like exo protien wafers.

Exo wafers are totally awesome. To bad its very hard to get players to understand that.
26% damage reduction for 16+ attacks at 5 tummy is a winner imo. 5 tummy is almost nothing for the bonus you get.
As far as your question I would consider:
Thaktillo
Vegeparsine
Steak
Wafers
Double buff vercupti
Blue milk (yes I'm serious)
Spiced Tea

A list...
All the ussual mind foods but no points in duration, everything into Nutrition, and then Maaaybe flavor, but filling is also very important. (33 Canape is a must).
SynthSteak and Exo Protein Wafers, Synth has more power but Wafers have less fill and last a little longer, good alternative if you need more stomache space.
Blue Milk.
Any stat defense foods. Don't know about fire resist. But Defense vs Dizzy, KD, Intimidate, Stun, maybe even blind but probably not.
Air Cake, Pikatta Pie. Any dodge food.
Duscrepe. (Reduces duration of DoT effects)
Parwan Nutricake for burstrunning away.
Rakririan Burnout Sauce for TKMs.
Some of the Artisan foods like spiced tea are pretty nice. You can eata tonat a time and they give you a heft bonus when stacked.
Ex: >Base< Spiced Tea, is 40 Mind for 37 Minutes and 8 Fill, You can probably get it to 100 Mind, 45 Minutes, 5 fill. That's +2000 Mind for 45 Minutes.
Vercupti. Has to be 50 Fill.
Maybe even Vayerbok. Block bonus.
Also Vegeparsine and Elshandruu Pica Thunderhead for Melee and Ranged Defense boost.
Should be it.

The Wafers don't last as long as Synthsteak - roughly half as many uses.
Dustcrepe is nice, though most people don't seem to know about it. I've gotten 22% reduction in a BE-enchanced version. One problem is that it isn't effective at less than 15 minute intervals. And unlike things like Synthsteak, you *are* allowed to eat it in between; and *after* you eat, you are told "oh sorry, that didn't do any good because it is too soon for the next dose"! 3 bites -- at onset, at +15, at +30 -- can cut in half your damage from a one-hour disease.
Artisan foods take a light additive, so your buff can't be increased more than about 55% over the base. I make non-BE versions at about +50 buff and close to an hour duration (don't recall filling). A BE-enchanced Caf ("Espresso") got up to +90 buff, but I had to sacrifice some duration to reach that high. I doubt anyone has enough experiment points to get get *everything* high, even with perfect resources and all Amazing Successes.

I was just stating an exagerated example =).
Wanted to point out how cool Spiced Tea is, hehe. Because it's so simple to make and sells amazingly well (because you can price it at like 75k a crate due to additives, and people use a ton of crates of it).

i don't have a strictly pvp foods vendor, but i do have one vendor that sells defensive foods. i dressed her in padded armor. have on there exo-protein wafers, synthsteak, air cake, pikatta pie, trimpian, vegesparine, ithorian mist, and thakitillo in a +73/34 fill and a +98/42 fill version.
one combo i discovered recently for my jedi, and have been recommending, is combining pikatta pie or air cake with synthsteak or wafers. lots of folks don't realize that the 'chance to dodge' doesn't require the dodge skill from fencer or pistoleer /blame devs for poor word choice. but when you eat the two together, the attacks that miss you completely due to the cake or pie don't count against the attacks in the steak or wafers. if you have the stomach room, it's a great combo to substitute for armor in quite a few situations.
the pvp'rs also buy a lot of brandy, canapes, parwan nutricakes, and citros snow cake (which i always thought of as to help grind new profs, but they like it to better hit defense stackers). they always ask for vercupti but i don't like making that.

Predominantly Brandy and Ahrisa for the mind buff, and Synthsteak for the reduced damage. It will vary person to person however, based on your preference.

.....If i may be so bold. I would suggest 2 overlooked food for your tool bar:
1)Bio-enhanced aitha (v. low filling, compared to blue milk) and can hit 250+ mind heal if u know
what you are doing. Ideal if you have a sliver of room left and your mind is about to go!!
2)Bio-enhanced exo-wafers - like synsteak but useful for when you are nearly "full"
Gives 25% dmg reduction at only 5 filling if made by a decent artisan/chef.
My penny's worth!!!
Thanks OSNA

Well your drinks at the start would be Vasarian Brandy for the mind buff, then use Ahrisa until your Focus is above 1500.
If you're a human (or other species that can hit 1k+ Focus via migration) then food really opens up as you probably only need to take one or two Ahrisa. The popular options for food are:
- Synthsteak and Exo-Protiens for the damage reduction, although I avoid Synthsteak beacuse of its high fill. When I use it, I'm probably going to hit the clone center soon and then I'm stuck with the full stomach. If after-death isn't too much of a concern, then go for it, if it is, then stick to the Exos.
- Air Cake/Pikatta Pie for the dodge bonus (not +dodge, but more like a + to Melee and Ranged D, i.e. your opponent will miss more often).
- Snow Cake for accuracy boost (Crispic is a lower filling alternative).
- Thakitillo for the KD defense.
You can should be able to find these foods on your server so you can use any two of the above (depending on what you need) with an Ahrisa. My suggestion is to go with a Pikatta Pie and then leave the rest open for an emergency.
Less popular (but still useful) ones are:
- Cho-Nor-Hoola and Trimpian for poison/disease and fire DoT resists respectivly.
- Travel Biscuits, it may seem small, but if you're being kited to death, the Terrain Negotation boost could help you catch your opponent if you're fighting on hilly terrain. Plus, it has a pretty low fill so you don't have too much of a down side.
For drink your options are a bit more limited since Brandy will cap you. But emergency (or if you took your Brandy a little early) options are:
- Deuterium Pyro for Def vs. Intimidate.
- Correlian Brandy for Def vs. KD.
- Ithorian Mist for Def vs. Dizzy.
- Aitha is a nice, low fill alternative to Blue Milk for the emergency Mind heal.
On Gorath at least, these can all hit around 15 fill so you shouldn't have too much of a problem fitting them in.

I would have to say:
1. Synthasteak- Damage Reduction is always nice.
2. Thatkilo- Don't wanna be stuck on the ground.
3. Canape or Ahrisa (Depending on if you plan on pvping for awile or have a quick fight coming up)- Always need mind boosts.
4.Brandy- Who doesnt pvp with brandy...
5.Muon- Backup incase you face some mind DOT or headshot 3 spammer.
Thats usually all the mains i take and then there are some other foods for specific occasions...but other then those 5...i usually dont have to eat other foods.

I always use 2 brandy, 1 ahrisha as soon as I'm buffed. Once fighting begins it's necissary to use a synthsteak. Then I keep my stomache open depending on how the fight goes. As a Rodian I have a low mind, so I keep Vercupti and Canape close at hand just in case.
