Hello,
I am just about done with my Chef grind (1 more skill to be exact) and I was wondering is there a listing of foods and what addatives can be used or is prefered for Chef. I have found alot of the guides and charts to be extremely helpful but have yet to come across anything about addatives.
Any assistance would be most appreciated.

chefs can use bio-engineer tissues to increase the nutrition bonus, or lower the filling, or increase the quantity (uses), or increase the duration of the food/drink. there is a particular bio-engineer tissue for all 4 of these categories for the 3 different types of tissues (light, medium, heavy).
almost everyone goes for the nutrition bonus bio-engineer tissues, which are:
micronutrient supplement(light), broad spectrum nutrients (med), and intelligent nano nutrients (hvy)
you as a chef need to add water to these to make the light, medium, or heavy food additives
not sure if this is answering your question. if not i am sure someone else can

yes that does help and i thank you.
One of these days i will learn to be more specific with my posts
I will make a list of things and if anyone can assist or point out a thread where this is covered it would be most helpful.
1) Do most Chefs make a sample of there product and then determine what BE addative to use? example; I make a sample of Brandy and the resource i have doesn't allow for a good duration so i use a suplement that increases this or is there a prefered nutrient for a particular product?
2) Could some one point me out a thread or list the best quality that BE addatives can get so i know what I am looking for?
3) Are BE nuetrients absolutely needed to make a quality Chef product (I have the clothes to be a 12 point apon master)?
4) what is considered a fair price for BE addatives? A listing of what addative to price would be most helpful.
5) Does the quality of the containers matter for the products? IE: casques, glasses, etc.
6) Does the sub components of containers matter? IE: trim
I appreciate all who respond

Every food can take additives. Except one, I think thats Ormarch or whatever thats called (the food that gives you an XP bonus)
The schematic tells you what additive it can take. If schematic says "Medium Food Additive" you can add either a light or a medium one, if it says heavy you can add any additve.
Almost all chef foods are best with a Nutrition additive, see the post above for the names.
There are a few exceptions:
- Parwan Nutricake: Important stat here is Flavor. You have to reach 90 Burstrun Recovery Time to be able to burstrun instantly after you stop. Only possible with using a Flavor Additive.
- Flameout: Its possible to reach very close to 100% Damage reduction without an additive. Since obviously anything past 100% doesn't do any good (you just can't take less than 0 damage), people might prefer a Flavor additive here as well, making it last for more attacks.

No, usually its just Nutrition additive.
2) Could some one point me out a thread or list the best quality that BE addatives can get so i know what I am looking for?
check the BE forum, they have a list somewhere in teh FAQ
Usually 55/85/115 for nutrition tissues are considered the average.
3) Are BE nuetrients absolutely needed to make a quality Chef product (I have the clothes to be a 12 point apon master)?
Basicly yes. You can do non-BE stuff, it will sell if priced accordingly but the good sellers are the enhanced stuff.
Unenhanced Brandy is around 230 strenght for example.
4) what is considered a fair price for BE addatives? A listing of what addative to price would be most helpful.
that really depends on the server. I think 30-50k is a fair price for a crate of BSN (depending on quality)
5) Does the quality of the containers matter for the products? IE: casques, glasses, etc.6) Does the sub components of containers matter? IE: trimI appreciate all who respond
No, and No
Subcomponent stats never matter. Most subcomponents can't even be experimented
For two foods you need other food as subcomomennt (Vegeparsine uses Veghash as component, and Sweesomeberry Rolls uses Pastebread), then even the quality of those subcomponent-food doesn't matter.
Only exception is the Additive, but thats no true subcomponent. Quality of the Tissue matters for additves, the water doesn't.
