Thread: Is there a problem with CA in aprons?
CAs don't stack, sorry to say.
You needed to add the CA to another piece of clothing and wear it at the same time as your apron. That's where chef "suits" get their name. I have to wear 6 pieces of clothing to get myself up to a 12pt chef.
Draroo: If a piece of clothing has a skill mod or another attachmentin it, you cannot add another one of the same skill mod to increase it's value.
Example:
Chef Apron : +5 Food Experimentation
Adding a +4 Food Experimentation clothing attachment will not add to +9 but instead you will just lose the attachment and one of the slots on the apron. Leaving you with the original +5 Food Experimentation. Because this is a built in skill mod I believe that adding a higher number such as +7 Food Experimentation will result in the same outcome. If it was another piece of clothing such as a shirt and you already had a +3 Food Experimentation attachment added to it,you could add a +4 to the shirt but they still don't stack and the higher number takes over so you end up with a +4 now. Also you lose another slot on the clothing.
Everyone answered the question correctly, justtrying to lay it out in more detail. Remember that a lot of people respec'ed to new professions and despite what people say, there is an influx of new players into the game. Therefor more is better. ![]()

Are you sure you lose a socket on it? I did this as a doc first starting (I am now a chef). I lost the CA, but still had the same number of sockets as I did before I dropped the CA onto it (and subsequently lost it).
