Personally you disgust me.You say you were a big name chef? 7mil credits a day and now you are ripping off players?

sounds like to me u were enjoying making more credits then making the food...in my case I respeced from MWS/MM/MA to MC/MBE and I still won't respec again cause I still enjoy making food and I am still making money...not mad bookoo when pub 17 hit but we still have the edge along the lines of giving players the edge they need in pve and pvp.

Some people like playing the merchant role with chef and the only way to tell your success is to look at the sales volume.He merely stated that he made 7 million a day in sales to indicate that he was a big chef on his server to emphasize his departure.Don't be mad at him for being good at his profession. The way foods and drinks are stacking has pissed a lot of people off and rightfully so. In my honest opinion they made it so that the lesser used foods and drinks pre-cu are now ambrosia (Artisan items) and the once staples are dog food. That's fine and dandy but when a chef spends millions and millions on resources to keep their vendors full andthen they pull the rug, there is gonna be some crying on the forums.

I am still a chef and will remain one but I came close to respecing to something else myself. I just couldn't do it. I have started making the new foods and I am still selling tons of products but it is just not the same. The once coveted Mandalorian Wine is trash compared to Breath of Heaven and any chefcan make BoH. It's a shame when you are competing with master artisans on selling your edibles.....shouldn't be that way. And now talk that the only popular products of chef are not working (ie...vegeparsine)

I once read a thread from the devs that they wanted to balance everything out and make pvp last longer......then why o' whydoes synthsteak only last a minute.

All i have to say is, i question the ability to be able to stock a vendor that made 7 mill a day, with 5 food factories, unless of course you bought all your components.

All depends how much one over charges and how many people you can sucker into your shop. Possible with 5 factories. I'm guessing 7 million on a good day. Sales come and go in a hurry.

Yeah food isn't important as it once was. Some things are worthwhile however. Those will sale, other things can be made. Is armor the next big crafting thing? I don't think so. Armorsmith took a dive too, everything did.

Actually, I think food makes all the difference in the world when you're a BH going after big-game Jedi. Food really does make or break you there.

im sorry to see you go but you deserve to go. sound slike your about the money not the love. i went chef mostly cause its what i always wanted. i spent million on it never fully expecting to earn it back. i really got into it for my jedi. i make everythign for her now which is quite convient. I have yet to advertise beyond the vendor search and have made 18 mil form sales. I do it for the love which im sad to say you seem to not have been..ever. if your after money im sorry to saw youll hate everythign after awhile. i wish you luck an dmust say you really didnt need to make a post complaining

I Love being a Chef, Reguardless of what the CU has done to it.. I enjoy talking to people about what type of food they want and different fillings, Durations and so on and so forth. I retired from Public few before CU cause i wanted the New Chefs a chance to make some cash. But, When I logged on after Cu was lauched i got like 15 tells Begging me to make food for them.. And since then I cant keep my vendors filled enough. I only sell my food 3x of total cost. it might be cheap but, I am no longer in it for the cash.. I sell my blob Candy for 36,625 when every one else sells theres are 150k.

I can't believe that people give up Chef cause CU or Pub 17 destroyed it, When Pub 17 came out, I got out my jedi and started testing foods. I found out that you cant stack a single Stat like Health. But you can, Eat Teltier Noodles, Blob Candy and Spice Tea. all are which are over 54m Duration and Regen pretty quickly. You have to find a food the enhances just that single stat you need and then use it.. but, another test is that Certain foods with Higher Stat modifier will cancle out the food you have taken before.. Like Mandorian Wine will take out the Foods to give you that higher modifier, but won't replace stuff like Spice tea..

Food Was not meant to over power Combat.. if it was the guy with the biggest bank roll will win hands down..

I know its not real life but think of it this way.. Lets say for thanksgiving, You eat your self so full that you are about to burst. What do you do afterwards.. Go Exersice!!! Heck No, You loosen your Pants sit you butt down and watch the Football game, I have never had the strength or felt like doing anything after I had a huge meal.. But, I guess thats what you want to do here.

Another thing I have been a real Life Chef for 7 years and I loved to cook.. But, I never cooked the same thing over and over again.. Each PlaceI have worked it constantly Changed Thier Menus. Did I go to my Bos and tell him are you Nuts.. We can't change that.. If I did i would be looking for another job. So, the boss changed the menu on you, So just deal with it
