I'm setting up this thread for any chef feedback on the CU.
I have put up an empty version of the swgCheftools spreadsheet here: http://home.comcast.net/~sciguyCO/swg/SWGChefTools_CU.xls
I'm planning on getting that filled out as soon as possible.
However....there's a glitch. After biting my nails down to my wrist, TC finally opened up tonight. With no established resource or harvestervendors, I was back to hand sampling. My god, how did I stand this at launch?!?
Anyway, it looks like food buffs are not activated. I made up some bofa treats and spice tea, and neither had any stats other than number of uses. I haven't tried Travel biscuits, but that's because combat is much slower (and because as only a novice brawler I currently suck) and I haven't gotten the hide necessary yet. That may be identical, since it wasn't a stat buff.
As I've stated elsewhere, I'm going to be out of town until Monday night. I may have intermittent forum access, but I can't guarantee. Try to keep CU-related stuff focused in here so I have a place to look first.
Good luck.
Oh, and if you try out TC-CU, an important tip: ctrl-click an attack type to make it your auto attack. If you don't, you're stuck manually hitting the icon every few seconds. Combat takes long enough as it is...

I crafted a bofa treat just now and it didn't give any stats listed on the item itself.
However I consumed it, and I got an icon on my "buffs" UI which says it "Modifies Health Regeneration". Nothing more specific, it doesn't even say whether it improves it or reduces it
O.

Now that's just flat wrong. Kanali Wafers is the food for Health regeneration; Bofa Treats are properly a small Health buff.

Ethak.. pretty muchchefs accross the galaxies will be first in line at the blue frogs to find out the changes after live CU (note.. it is still testing)
As a chef, i have started to wind down production at this stage and no longer stockpiling the usual stuff...basically, just keep checking back on here as more chefs figure out what is going on with the CU.
Me-personally.. will wait for blue frog.. not grinding that for a 4th time LOL (kept changing my alts templates LOL)

Okay you wanted feedback:
Bofa Treat: You cannot see what its stats are while crafting, or when you examine it in inventory. If you eat it then a little icon comes under your name, looking there tells you nothing. Pulling up the character screen shows that it buffed your Constitution ( THE Character Screen needs much work really ). ( Mine was +82 ) Tat Scaley Hide
Travel Biscuits: You cannot see what the stats are while crafting, or when you examin it in inventory. If you eat it then a little icon comes under your name, putting the mouse over it tells you what your bonus is ( Mine was 7.7 ) Tat Wild Rice, Tat Leathery Hide
Spiced Tea: You cannot see what stats are while crafting, or when you examine it in inventory. If you drink it a little icon comes under your name which says Modify Mind Regeneration when you put your mouse over it. Pulling up the Character screen you can see it has modified Stamina by +76 in my case. Tat Water,, Tat Bristley Hide

Really? On TC last night I thought I noticed BE's with INN, BSN, and MNS (as well as the other tissues) sitll in their trees. Of course I could be wrong. If this is changed, then that is interesting news.

We've always had light, medium and heavy additives lol, think about it, what do you make now with the water and BE tissues.
Unless we now have INN's, BSN's and MN's, and the other stat related ones, i doubt we'll have them.

Wait, it said "Modify Mind Regeneration" but boosted Stamina? Stamina regenerates Action, Willpower regenerates Mind. Need to test the effects of Kanali Wafers, Teltier Noodles and Caf: those are supposed to be the regen boosters.

Yep, they've not actually removed the drain stats either. They need to work on cleaning up the new HAM system probably immediately.

Ooh man that would have been a great April fools joke, pull all the crafting out of BE's, and make chefs not linked to any other crafters, Let us make Trim too!!
