Thread: Fried Ice Cream vs Ryshcate

I commonly see people asking for Correlian Fried Ice Cream and tonight after making Master I did some experimenting.


My Ryshcate came out to have just as high a Focus buff as my Ice Cream and buff two other stats as well. They even had very close durations. Am I missing something ?

Ice Cream takes less resource intensive subcomponents and takes less time to make. Also if I'm a rifleman, the mind pool is all that matters. So since it's cheaper usually I like the Ice Cream better.

I'll have to look at mine. Last ice cream I made was over 500 focus...not sure if I can get Ryshcate that high...mmmm something to play with now.

you can eat two ryshcates versus one icecream. Thats something not to miss also.


Ive only make icecream as a promotional food to give as tips to docs who treat me. They often visit my shop after that



You can also get far higher stacks of ryshkate than icecream.

I am not a chef so I might sound "dumb" but, isnt glucose paste a food and it buffs mind AND focus, right?

Not really a dumb question when it comes from a non-chef... Glazed Glucose Pate needs Domesticated Meat as an ingredient, so it's only available if the chef or some contact of his has hunted the stuff. You may find that some chefs are open to a deal whereby if you agree to hunt the meat for them, they'll keep a crate of two of the end product reserved for you. Can't hurt to ask, and don't be offended if they say no.

I have a similar deal worked out and so this person gets first dibs on all my pate i make
